We had a one night stay in Antigua on our way to Dominica. We paid the booking fee and provided a copy of our flight schedules and expected arrival/departure times. All done over a month in advance. When we arrived the hotel was completely abandoned. We realize we were there outside tourist season but with our planning we naturally expect... more

Stuck here by Liat due to delayed flight and missed connection. staff friendly enough but would spend the extra money and stay somewhere more upmarket. Would have been great 20 years ago when I was a backpacker! more

I called in advance to book - they took a 10% deposit a few days before arrival. Was only there for one night, but it was fine. Room was clean, clean linen and a/c in room. TV had quite a few channels too. Hotel staff were helpful. Cost about $10 (US) to get to the airport. more

I missed my liat flight as virgin atlantic was delayed in uk so liat recommend this hotel as a convieient and resonably priced overnight hotel. Only 5 minutes from the airport and so you can hear the planes overhead but heard nothing after about 9 pm. Front desk were very friendly and helpful. I am a young woman (24) and... more

This hotel is dirty with layers of dirt on their fans, the bathrooms are deplorable, the shower drain is a dark open hole in the ground, if you like to sleep then this is not where you want to stay, loud from the recpetion area and planes over head. Currently on sale for 2.5 M US this was reduced from... more

LIAT changed our flight times and we were therefore in need of somewhere close to the airport to stay until 0500 the following morning. The hotel is close to the airport as stated in previous reviews all of which are true in their own way. The staff were helpful and obliging on arrival and departure and the evening meal fresh,... more

I found myself at the Amaryllis due to missing a connecting flight. It was a $8.00 us taxi trip there from the airport. I was quite frazzled from travel and the employees at the hotel quickly made me feel more comfortable. I had a dinner of jerk chicken which was nicely presented. Thank you to all the staff that were... more

Needs an upgrade to fix the cracked walls, rusting bathroom fittings, cheap and thin linens and extremely small screen TVs. If you intend to stay more than one night this is not the place for you. Some rooms may be of a higher standard but the general plant needs a serious upgrade. more

We routinely stay at the Amaryllis because we through transit to Montserrat several times per year. In total, we have overnghted there at least a dozen times in the past 3 years. It's major distinction is its easy access to the airport. The accommodations are spartan, serviceable and reasonably comfortable, but nothing special. The open air restaurant is quite nice,... more
