Returned from Grand Pineapple on July 4, 2009. We had both good and bad experiences there. The resort has some very beautiful grounds which are maintained very well. We were greeted with smiles and rum punch at the reception desk which started the trip off wonderfully. The location is the best on the island; beautiful beach, white powdery sand, lots of palm trees for shade, a cool breeze, a reef protecting the beach and giving the best snorkeling opportunity on the island. My friend and I went in May to relax and lay on the beach. The beach at Grande Pineapple was perfect! The water was wonderful, the sand was powder white, there were always plenty of chairs and the resort provided beach towels (you get a towel card when you check in).
