It is a beautiful clean house and the owners are friendly but the rooms are very small and it is a shared bathroom with the other room. Not only is it a shared bathroom but it is the TINIEST bathroom I've ever been in. I'm 5 foot 2 - and not a big person - I felt sorry for my... More

Penny and Glenn (the owners) are extremely friendly people with interesting stories. They were a great help in telling us about the best restaurants and the most scenic route to our next destination. Breakfast was beyond delicious. The house was clean. The bed was very comfortable. No complaints at all. Staying here was honestly an unexpected highlight of the trip.

The Hillcrest is a GREAT place to stay. Penny and Glenn were excellent hosts and made us fell very welcome and at home. The breakfast was out of this world and loved the saskatoons! If we ever come out that way again, we'll be sure to book at the Hillcrest.

Our B&B in HIllcrest is in a lovely new 2-story home built in a traditional style with a large verandah on three sides, shaded by trees on one side and opening onto a lovely garden on the other. Our hosts, Penny and Glen Rinas, are delightful. Glen is a very skilled carpenter and for many years worked in the film... More

I have always wanted to stay at a bed and breakfast. So to ensure our first experience was a good one I went onto trip advisor and found the Hillcrest Hideaway. I will never regret my decision to stay there. My husband daughter and I stayed two nights with Penny and Glenn. They made it a most memorable stay for... More

Penny & Glenn are the best! A beautiful location, every convenience and the most welcoming hosts I've ever encountered in 20 years of B&B visits. You have to tear yourself away from the incredible breakfast table to get on with your day! As Arnold would say, 'I'll be back!'

From the minute you arrive until when you leave you will enjoy staying with Penny, Glenn and Shorty at the Hillcrest Hideaway. We have stayed with them only a couple of times but enjoyed it very much. I have stayed at the Hillcrest Hideaway several times in the last year, and the warm welcome and unfailing service have been excellent! Penny and Glenn are such wonderful hosts, I feel like I have visited your favorite sister, and want to stay longer. Their home is so warm and welcoming when you arrive, and in the morning you can... We had never been to a B&B before so we weren't sure what to expect but after reading some reviews we decided to call. We had a little bit of issues getting thru at the start as the fax machine was hooked up but perseverance paid off. We enjoyed some great conversations with Penny & Glenn. And their dog Shorty...
