We just returned after a 5 night stay at Cap Juluca (July 7-11) and it was absolutely outstanding on every level. It made our first four nights on St. Martin pale in comparison. Our previous favorite beach resort was The Four Seasons Hualalai (Big Island) but now we've found a place that surpasses even that in terms of magnificent scenery,... more

Yes, the rooms are older and in need of renovation. Don't let this deter you from staying. They are in the process of upgrading everything and it will be fabulous. The lobby and grounds are absolutely breathtaking. Service impeccable. One of the best beaches I've seen! Beach beds are great, restaurants fantastic. Blue was surprisingly a favorite...the view was AMAZING!!!... more

Cap Juluca was great, but not for the price. We went during the low season and felt like the resort was too big for personal attention - I could only imagine when it is busy... We were surprised when we got there that they did not have locks on their rooms. When we requested a key it didn't work. But... more

Wow, the beach that Cap is on, is fantastic! The water is so Blue and sand so white. We had a great time walking the long beach, and floating in the ocean. The rooms are nice, but not the best. They are a little dreary if you keep the doors shut which you have to do because the bugs will... more

Saved up from a summer side job to go to Cap Juluca for our honeymoon. We knew it was going to be pricey but we were prepared. Decided on the romance package. I had enough points for two roundtrip tickets. It was great flying in St. Maarten and taking the cap juluca shuttle to anguilla. Well worth it. One other... more

Our biggest money saver was to bring our own liquor. We brought flasks and also purchased liquor in the duty free shop at the Miami airport. This saved us a ton because the drinks are about $12 each. We traveled with another couple, good friends, and were met at the St. Maarten Airport by Cap Juluca employees and taken to... more

I convinced my wife to travel to the Carribbean for a change ... we live in California ... and it was a tough journey. If I could give one piece of advice to Cap Juluca, it would be to figure out the whole boat-ride from St. Maarten thing and make it easier and less stressful. After multiple conversations with the... more

We did a 3 nights of our honeymoon at the Cap Juluca. The resort and beach were nice but our room was awful. The deluxe suite was run down and dirty. When we arrived to the room everything was WET. When they came out to look at it they said it was because housekeeping left the door open with the... more

Just back from 8 wonderful nights at Cap. Had a great time on our honeymoon. Perfect place to start off a marriage. Very quiet and relaxing with excellent service, but not so over the top that they are annoying. The beach is fabulous and even better in person than it appears in pictures. We were upgraded to a luxury room... more

Myself and my husband just got back from 5 days of pure relaxation. Staying at Cap Juluca has to be our best vacation ever. Yes the rooms are a bit dated, but very clean, the beach was picture perfect. We stayed in villa 18 we loved the privacy of it . We loved listening to the waves crashing at night. I really... more
