I can't say enough about Ambia. My husband and I discovered Ambia in 2010. We had the most fabulous time. We had the pleasure of meeting Bob, his mom Barbra and the lovely Magda! Not to mention Ruby and Maya the sweet furry mascots who inspired us to bring home our own Anguillan pups. (Check out AARF.AI) We had a... More

If visiting St. Marten and want a wonderful alternative/sidetrip - this is your spot/destination. You should get transportation or contact owners to assist with a rental car acquisition as no alternative transportation besides cab/taxi. The facility is small with nice/great design rooms which overlook the Bay. Quiet and relaxing. No noise at resort whatsoever. Everything was clean and operational (including... More

When you arrive sweaty and tired at the Blowing Point immigration desk and the young lady in the booth looks at you, smiles, and says “Welcome back”, BEFORE she opens your passport, you know this is a special place. When you drag your luggage to the parking lot and there is Lorne waiting to pick you up, or Junior with... More

We enjoyed our fourth return visit to Ambia. Hosts Magda and Lorne were as friendly and welcoming as always, full of great tips for the island. As usual, they picked us up at the ferry terminal and had pre-arranged our car rental so that it was waiting for us at Ambia. We had a freshly prepared breakfast every morning, and... More

My wife and I recently travel to Anguilla and Ambia for a little vacation. We had the pleasure of staying for seven night at Ambia. I cannot tell you how wonderful of a place it truly is. Magda and Lorne met us at the Ferry with our rental car (A must have on the Island) for the short drive to... More

I do not write many reviews. I felt compelled to do so after is read the most recent "review" posted. Sue and I have stayed at Ambia twice...the second time because the first was so enjoyable. Ambia is a small hotel. The rooms are unique. The doors are Shoji screens where one part is transparent and the other is not.... More

We have no idea what Preet2014 is talking talking about. My husband and I have stayed there 4+ times and have found it to be top-shelf in terms of rooms, amenities and service. The beds [we've stayed in 3 of their rooms and all have been great] are more than comfortable. Yes, they do have an old dog. But Ruby... More

A long over-due shout-out to Ambia Boutique Hotel ... I was in Anguilla 4 weeks ago, and every day since I have been wishing I was still there. Magda & Lorne, who run the hotel, were the most amazing hosts I could have wished for. I was looking for an r&r escape ... and could not have been more pleased... More

If you are looking for a relaxed hide-away, far from the resort crowds, this is the place. Ambia sits on a hill overlooking Sandy Ground, and provides spectacular views of the sunset. Our favorite moment of the day, after a great time on Shoal Bay, was watching the sun go down from our balcony(of course, with a glass of wine).... More
