Just returned after a fabulous week at Casale Villarena and missing it already! The stunning house with views that make you stop and look each time, lies in the unspoiled village of Nerano (short and beautiful drive from the bustling Positano and Amalfi). Here you can hear the clock chimes of the church bell marking the hour and observe the... More

Excellent, spacious accommodation Wonderful location overlooking the sea in a quiet picturesque village Unbelievable hospitality, form the initial greeting by the proprietor at the entrance gate to the hugs on leaving- the staff could not do enough for us! And the food! Remarkable, did not see a menu all week, local seafood in abundance with local calabrian wine and home... More

We spent a very relaxing 4 days here in “La Rotonda” and would recommend it highly. The hosts are very helpful and kind. We didn’t partake in any of the activities that they offered to organise as we were not really in the mood for cruises or trips, so we very happily pottered around the area, doing various local (beautiful)... Situated in the quiet village of Nerano, this accommodation is perfect for a secluded walking break. The self-catered room was clean and spacious, with a sea-view balcony and well-equipped kitchen. We ate in nearby Marina del Cantone (not so good), and Termini (excellent), and walked back each night. Bring a torch, as there are no street lights on the paths... More

Perfect combination of home-feeling and great service. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Delicious food in their home-restaurant! We rented a flat with two bedrooms and kitchen. Perfect as a base for daytrips in the area; hiking, Amalfi- and Sorrento coast, boattrips, Capri, Pompeii ++.

We visited Casale Villarena in late October this year. We are very well traveled and can truly say that the hospitality experienced at Casale Villarena is exceptional. The staff are there at every turn to offer assistance, guidance and advice. The rooms are clean and comfortable with lovely views and the outdoor space is lovely. The highlight was the wonderful... I was a flight attendant for over 42 years and have traveled all over the world, staying in hundreds of places. This was a place, very high on my list, a diamond in the ruff. The staff was so warm and helpfull. The place was immaculate. Very, warm and homey. A great location, near Marina del Cantone, for doing any... More

We had a truly wonderful holiday at Casale Villarena in September this year. We stayed in one of the beautiful apartments, La Rotunda. The pictures on the website don’t show just how lovely the apartment is -very comfortable with plenty of space, there is a beautiful and recently renovated bathroom. Our own balcony had a beautiful view of the sea... More

Tastefully modernised old building and our room was fantastic. Quiet location in pretty fishing village. The staff went out of their way to cater for my dietary needs - gluten free food - and every meal was superb. Can't praise Casale Villarena or its wonderful friendly & helpful staff enough. A truly memorable holiday.

We stayed the first night at their apartment at the beach as there was no room at the main house (this was pre-arranged), which was nice, went to the house for breakfast and were able to move into our room straight away. This is an amazing place, beautiful, charming, old building, with rooms sympathetically modernised. Mariateresa is extremely helpful, speaks... More
