We stayed here on the way to our ferry at Fishguard and on the way back from Ireland. We were welcomed with tea, coffee and Welsh cakes and were amazed by our superb room, 4 poster bed and sofa with every comfort you can imagine. Breakfast was lovely- the best B and B we have ever stayed in and hopefully... more

Our stay at Coedllys has been wonderful, from the start we had a lovely warm welcome with tea and welsh cakes and then our room which was stunning. A huge bed with gorgeous linnen, a very comfy sofa, chocolates, fruit, biscuits, fresh milk for our tea or coffee, loads of extras as in slippers, boiled sweets, pamer box etc. Immaculately... more

This review is in two parts, our experience of Coedllys as a B&B, and the 'How to run a bed and breakfast' course run by the owners. 1. The B&B: Our stay began with a warm welcome tasty Welsh cakes, tea and coffee served to us in the comfy guest lounge. Our room was large, very pretty, immaculately clean and... more

We visited Coedllys country House in Jan 09 for a 3 day new years break. This house is located in a very idealic part of the Welsh countryside. It is nestled beneath beautiful hills and woodlands. This farm is now a safe haven for many wonderful birds and animals and this only adds to the the uniqueness of this house.... more

Having just spotted Doomeister's review on this page, I just wanted to say "I am that friend" and I also have to say that he's absolutely right in every way (and this by the way has come from a couple who are known for their fastidiousness (bloody-minded fussiness would probably be nearer the mark, but I certainly wouldn't say that... more

Attended Val and Keith's 'how to run a B&B course.' Courses are run off season for those who are looking to buy/start a B&B business. Do not even think about buying or starting a B&B before you’ve done this course! It was money well spent and fantastic value. It was a real eye opener for us. What we learnt will... more

Excellent accomdation and excellent food. The attention to detail was second to none. Val couldn't do enough for me to make me feel welcomed and comfortable. The gardens and woodland were beautiful and certainly lived up to the name of Paradise Valley. Would certainly recomend the place and will stay there again. more

Guests are able to sit any where in our grounds on the many benches, seats and garden swings dotted throughout the grounds to enjoy both the sunshine and views. If in any doubt, we are always here and happy to help and answer queries or questions our guests may have.

Following a recommendation from a friend of mine (whilst looking for a destination to relax on my birthday) I contacted the proprietors. The booking was easy, friendly and trouble free, followed by a confirmation email and travel directions. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the beautiful vistas, a house set in perfectly groomed grounds and Val the lady of the... more
