Unfortunately Springfields no longer seem to be accepting casual visitors. last time I wanted to stay in Cwmbran I was unable to stay there. Their website says they now only accept regular Monday to Friday bookings so, sadly, however good it used to be, you probably won't get in for a short stay.

We have used this guest house regularly over a number of years whilst visiting and supporting elderly relatives living nearby. Its a great comfortable, spotless accommodation. The towels and bedding always smell fresh & clean. Teresa & Trevor are very hospitable & welcoming and they offer a fantastic choice of quality & generous portions at breakfast and go out of... More

We stayed for two nights. The premises are very clean. The owners work very hard to serve. Great Welsh breakfast! Filled us up for the day.Trevor loaned us a map and gave us helpful advice about interesting places to visit.

Stayed in the Pantry. It was ok. Very "rustic" if you like that sort of thing but not not spotlessly clean. The mugs hanging from the shelf were covered in dust. It also smelt. Having said that it was exceptionally hot and I think the smell could have been from trying to cover up pet smells as pets are allowed... More

I stayed at Springfields for 3 nights so that I could attend meetings at Victory Church in Cwmbran. I was concerned though that I needed to be back in the Midlands for an appointment on Thursday morning. Before I went, Trevor and Theresa checked on diet preferences, any allergies etc. It turned out that, unlike many guesthouses, they serve breakfast... More

Having been staying at Springfields on & off ( generally only 1 or 2 nights per year) since 1999, I've stayed in a few different rooms - all of which are spotlessly clean & furnished to a high standard. This time we stayed in The Pantry, just outside the main house. That suited us fine as we were attending an... More

I highly recommend Springsfields Guest House . Trevor and Theresa were welcoming, friendly and nothing was not too much trouble. The place is spotless. There was a comfortable lounge so I was not just confined to my bedroom of an evening if it had rained . The choice of breakfast was so good. It was affordable ,comfortable and clean .It... More

My wife has stayed at Springfields several timesand told me how much she enjoyed the house and owner's friendly hospitality. On this visit my wife ans I stayed with Trevor and Theresa for a couple of nights and again found the guesthouse, very clean and homely with plenty of parking space back and front. Although we had the last room... More

That's lovely, we are very pleased that you both enjoyed your stay with us. Everything here looks great at the moment as the flowers in the garden are in full bloom and the sun is shining. We look forward to seeing you in Wales again soon and thank you for your kind words. More

I stayed at Springfields Guest house for 3 nights. The location was very convenient to the center of Cwmbran (just a couple minutes drive). My room was nice and clean, and Theresa was extremely helpful with directions and suggestions on outdoor activities in the area. My favorite part, however, were the excellent breakfasts. Not only did they have a handful... More
