We stayed in the B&B as a family of five and used all three bedrooms. The welcome was very friendly. Our hosts brought our luggage to the rooms and prepared some tea. Rooms are lovely. Breakfast was like in a high class hotel. The small village is very nice and peaceful. The beach is within a 10 min walk.

My fiancée and I stayed at Tudor Cottage for 3 nights in June 2014. We were taking part in the ironman 70.3 just a few miles down the road at Wimbleball Lake. Anne and Ash couldn't have been more accommodating! Anne kindly booked us a table at a nearby restaurant for Friday night. Breakfast on Saturday morning, crookedest by Ash,... More

Stayed here for a night at the end of may. What a lovely B&B with lovely surroundings. The hosts were extremely kind and friendly which made the stay even more pleasurable. The Selworthy room was lovely and comfortable with a nice en suite. The room had some homemade flapjacks in which were delicious and a very nice touch. The breakfast... More

Anne and Ash were excellent hosts and looked after us well for our 5 nights' stay end of April/beginning of May. They were helpful in suggesting places to eat locally and we had excellent walks right from the doorstep. The breakfasts were lovely with something for all tastes and the homemade bread and flapjacks were very tasty! Our room was... More

Thank you both for taking the time to write a review. The mattress is a brand new orthopaedic one this year but as you say this is personal preference and we tried to choose the middle ground. Lots of people enjoy the bath to soak their aching bones after a long days walking but again this is personal preference. We... More

Had a fantastic stay at Tudor Cottage over Easter. I was curious to see a place that had all five stars from other reviews and I tell you what - the place is fantastic and is absolutely true to what other reviewers say. Although our room's bathroom was private but not ensuit, I havent seen anyone else on the corridor... More

With all the talk of the terrible floods in Somerset, this place is definitely open and we are really glad that we stayed. Unfortunately it was only one night, but an ideal setting, peaceful countryside and excellent hosts. Thank you. Ken & Caroline

Thank you both so much for taking the time to review us. We are glad you enjoyed your short visit and hope to see you again sometime, maybe for a little longer next time. What a great weekend! Anne and Ash were lovely, welcoming hosts who gave very good advice on local walks and eateries. The breakfast was smashing, local meat and free-range eggs, and cooked exactly as requested (excellent crispy bacon!). The room was comfortable, with a wee mini bar and tea and flapjacks. A really great B&B and definitely recommended! Only a... More

Thank you very much for taking the time to review your stay with us. We are glad you enjoyed your stay. The guest lounge is only small as we are a "cottage" but tends only to be used for the welcome tea or coffee. Your bed is a very new mattress but as you say it is personal choice and... More

We had a lovely reception upon arrival from Ann and Ash. We stayed for two nights in Selworthy. Nothing appeared to be too much trouble for our hosts. The accommodation was first class, beautifully presented, immaculate but at the same time very homely. Breakfast was delicious, even down to home made bread for the toast. Lovely village setting and great... More
