We stayed here for one night very recently!! The grounds were very nice and the lake was absolutely gorgeous!! The sites have power and water which was great!! The staff was super friendly and helpful!! I know there was a couple canoes to rent but it would have been better if there were more! Would have loved to spend more... More

Visited Kinbasket Lake Resort for one night only on our way home from Penticton to Edmonton. We stayed in 22 feet trailer. Pros first- Very scenic, lake is beautiful, surprisingly warm, peaceful setting. Cons- lots of them unfortunately. No 30 amp power, no potable water(needs to be boiled, be sure to bring your own,) sites are close together, no privacy... More

I visited this place in June we drove four hours to it. When we got there in our rv it had been raining. We turned off the highway and headed down the mud/gravel road. Theres old faded signs on the road down encouraging you that your on route to a fantastic place. Its a downhill few km mud/gravel road which... More

We stayed with another couple at the end of June. Below is a list of the pros and cons we experienced: Pros - Beautiful scenery - No problems with our reservations - Campsite No. 40 was the biggest and nicest site and we were able to park our boat with trailer there - Found a nice warm swimming hole at... We booked a night's stay from the UK on the strength of the good reviews we read and weren't disappointed! What an interesting place! It was great to feel a bit out of it 5k down an unpaved road. We had a great welcome and a fantastic RV site looking over the water. Rick and the other staff members couldn't... More

- Overpriced. - Very noisy all day and night because a lot of train run fast at 5 meter to the campsite with a loud horn sound. You will be wake up every 30 min. - There is no drinking water, you have to boiled the water before drink it. - No wifi for an expensive price. - Staff is... More

Kids had a blast riding bikes and playing on the playground. Rick was super friendly and accommodating. Managed to get campsites across from each other even though we booked days before our trip. He even had our kids in mind when he assigned our sites, he made sure they were kid friendly. the lake was beautiful and not as cold... More

This campground was lovely. The views were picturesque. The water was a turquoise green and very refreshing on a hot summer day. The campground owners were very helpful, they helped us park our unit when we arrived and were always very friendly. The train close by did not bother us, our young children actually really enjoyed the proximity in which... More

The Rick described in other reviews was not our own experience. We found him to be abrupt and at times rude to other guests. The CPR train is cool but the crossing is 300 feet above the campground so it blares its horn a lot. Keep in mind that this is the only track that connects BC to the rest... More
