If Oludeniz isn't your thing - Newquay in Turkey: Tacky, English breakfasts, English shops, English people - and you're starting the Lycian Way this is an amazing place to stay ok your first night or even to base yourself. Mehmet is incredibly kind. I was ill and his wife and him did everything they could to help me. The breakfast... More

We stayed here one night during our trek on the Lycian way. The setting was pure beauty and peace. The veranda overlooks the valley and family olive trees. A beautiful spot for reading, enjoying a cup of tea in the help-yourself kitchen or relexing whilst talkingoto our host. Breakfast was yummy featuring a hikers feat with home grown olives, home... Stayed two nights out of season. Quiet, clean and comfortable place along the Lycian Way with a lovely terrace, very good food, optional use of a kitchen plus living room and an absolutely lovely host.

I stayed an evening at Melisa Pension, while finishing up a day of trekking the Lycian Way. Although it was off-season during the time I visited, the owner, Mehmet, greeted me with open-arms and provided a comfortable room in which I could stay. As a first-time visitor to Turkey unfamiliar with the area, Mehmet gave me very detailed instructions for... More

My mother, brother and I stayed at Melisa Pansiyon when we stopped in Faralya during our joke along the Lycian way and found it very hard to leave. Mehmet and Elisabeth went out of their way to make our stay comfortable, offering a range of services and great advice about the region. Our favourite part was the breakfast - a... More

We went to fethiye and oludeniz. Oludeniz was a beach resort and not oor thing. 15 minutes up the scenic road is butterfly valley, with some lovely beaches down the hill. Melisa perches on the hill with great views. A very warm welcome. Ad a great breakfast. No air conditioning, but the evening breeze is very cooling.
