The room we were given looked over a balcony to a garden and the river. The hotel has a great position, just across the river from the township. Our tariff included breakfast, which had everything a continental breakfast ever includes. The room had a wonderful Olde Worlde feel, with thick stone walls. A bath tub would have been a great... Great treat whilst walking Camino Portuguese very elegant building with friendly staff and good service. Stayed in chalet type rooms at rear of the enclosed grounds which does have a heated outdoor pool with sun loungers! Set right on the river and bridge into town. Plenty of bars restaurants to choose from and no 10-00pm curfew !! Pilgrim friendly and... More

This was a treat along the Camino and money well spent. Got to swim in a pool of natural spring water and have a spa treatment. Although the foot bath was nothing special the leg rub and warm mud back treatment were well worth it. Also a plus is the restaurant, Taberna O'Muino just across the street. Located at entrance... After 23 km on the Camiño de Compostella that day what a delight to spend a night in this hotel offering special prices for spa activities. Your body is really expecting it. We had a bungalow along the swimming pool quite and comfortable. We enjoyed the special bubble bath and some specific massage of the legs. The next day ,... More

Cut our walk short to stay here after a night in a grotty hostal. Some hotels can be a bit snotty about pilgrims but this place even has special spa treatments designed to ease rucksack back and aching legs. Heated outdoor pool and the service we've come to expect in Portugal and galicia. Bungalow by the pool, sadly the tv... More

This place is just great. I think it is the best hotel to stay in this town. Good rooms situated in small bungalows in front of swimming pool and hot springs were the real relief after a day of Camino Portuguese.

Balneario Acuna is right on the Camino Portugues, so it is a very convenient stop. We stayed in one of the bungalow rooms near the pool - our room was nice although plain, and the lack of air conditioning was apparent on a humid August night. The hotel has an excellent spa and a nice pool - a great treat... More

callas de Reis is a pleasant town on the Portuguese Camino and made a very pleasant overnight stop off for us. it has a wonderful position next to the lovely river and close to the centre of town. rooms are located in bungalow units in the garden area. They are reasonably sized and not too noisy. the hotel has a... More

We were in the middle of the Camino Santiago when we stayed here. We didn't stay in the main building but in a kind of bungalows in the garden. The main building looks very nice inside, from the outside needs to be painted again. The rooms are simple but comfortable. Breakfast in the main building was very nice and with... More

This is a turn of the century Victorian/Edwardian spa hotel and despite a relatively recent modernisation you still half expect to see Hercule Poirot appear through the doorway. Away from the main hotel there is a block of motel style rooms set between the lawn area and the swimming pool. Good sized rooms and all the amenities one should expect.... More
