What a fabulous experience! A superb and stunning house in a superbe setting and only minutes from the ferries to,take you across the River Dart into, the pretty town of Dartmouth. The quality of the accommodation, service, breakfast was truly spectacular and highly recommended. The hosts Tony and Gordon were very friendly, efficient and had their eye on the ball at... More

We had a wonderful time at Kaywana Hall and can only echo the other excellent reviews. Fantastic hospitality, organisation, service, rooms, breakfast - lots of lovely details and felt truly taken care of. We did a great walk from Kingswear to Brixham, sustained by Tony's amazing fudge and rounded off with incredible seafood at Rockfish, overlooking the harbour. We would... More

Just had a two night stay at Kaywana Hall which was fantastic. We stayed in Oak a beautiful room, really luxurious accommodation with lovely extra touches like the home made fudge and biscuits and jelly babies. Tony and Gordon are amazing hosts and very knowledgable of the local area. The house is stunning and as already stated having breakfast in... More

Ok where to start: Hosts: Tony and Gordon are very welcoming and friendly and could not be faulted. Room: Beeches: The room was a lovely large contemporary room, with lots of attention to detail, including fridge with fresh milk and water and the fresh lemon slices were a first for us and much appreciated. Coffee machine, kettle with a wide... More

Thank you for your review. I am sorry you had some issues with your shower, it was only a shame you did not mention them at the time and we could have tried to resolve the problem. All our shower heads are descaled fortnightly thus I think the problem was more likely to be the fact that the shower heads... More

Have just returned from a two night stay at Kaywana Hall and wish it could have been longer. B&B does not begin to describe this house - it's amazing from the design of the buildings, through the standard of the rooms and fittings to Tony's super breakfast - how does he cook and entertain us at the same time??? The... More

Like some - or probably a number of – other reviewers, we were inspired to stay at Kaywana Hall after seeing it featured on TV. I was already aware of its history having worked in the area some years ago before Tony and Gordon took on their awe-inspiring project, so I was curious to find out more and experience its... More

As always, a wonderfully relaxing stay in beautiful surroundings. Even managed a dip in the swimming pool. Our hosts were charming and provided a delicious breakfast, which set us up for the day. A treat.

For the moment we arrived at Kaywana Hall we were made to feel very welcome. The place is stunning, both in appearance and location. We stayed in Beech which overlooked the pool. Our terrace had the sun from around midday to about 7pm. The pool is an added bonus which we made good use of. The room is well furnished,... More
