If you are wondering about all the five star reviews - I can say that when you actually stay at Kaywana Hall it is better than you can imagine. We went for two nights to celebrate my husbands birthday and were amazed by the beautiful house which has been restored to a wonderful modern home. Tony and Gordon make you... More

What a wonderful experience, Kawana Hall has been restored perfectly in exquisite taste. The setting is peaceful and private with bird song for company. The icing on the cake is Tony who welcomes you into the heart of their home for breakfast and chat! Thank you for having us! Alan and Liz

We want to confirm all of the excellent reviews about Kaywana Hall, and to say thanks again for the hospitality shown us by Tony and Gordon. We were drawn by the architecture, which is exceptional. The unique nature of this property is that it was built in the early 1960's, and then rebuilt by the current owners on the footprint... More

Stayed two nights and yet wish we had booked for longer, we will return. Tony remains clam and unflustered welcoming endless strangers into their beautiful home. We loved the mix of autonomy with the rooms being separate from their living accomodation with the welcoming breakfast in the hub of the house. great for not moving the car and walking the... More

I also run a B&B and can honestly say that these guys do a superb job. From the welcome we received, the finish and standard of the rooms, the provided 'in room' hospitality ... All is wonderful. It feels as though you are friends from the minute you arrive, even to remembering our anniversary ( which is why we had... More

We stayed at Kaywana Hall back in November and meant to write the review straight after to let Tony and Gordon know what a wonderful stay we had. We were their last guests for the year and were treated like royalty. The weather was fairly wet but it didn't detract from the stunning surroundings and we loved our room. It... More

We stayed for two nights in November 2014 in conjunction with a family birthday party in Dartmouth. The arrangements were easy to make and the welcome on arrival very warm. The room was exquisite with a fantastic attention to detail. The free wi-fi was very welcome although mobile reception (on O2 and Vodafone) was good anyway. Breakfasts (both of them)... More

We stopped here for a relaxing weekend celebrating a birthday and were not disappointed. The situation and location are fabulous set in a wooded valley half a mile from the village of Kingswear and the River Dart and Dartmouth just over the river. The house itself is an architectural gem - a 1960s modernist glass and zinc clad design rebuilt... More

We are just driving back from a wonderful three night break at Kawana Hall. Like others, I had read the stunning reviews on Trip Adviser, and gazed at the beautiful pictures of architectural brilliance, hoping it would live up to our expectations. I am happy to say it most certainly did, and then some. Tony and Gordon are wonderful hosts,... More
