Stayed here for 7 nights last week, great room, fab house keeping always smiling, lovely beach and snorkelling, food excellent, service poor and staff not quite as happy as house keeping !!! , waited 40 mins for a tuna steak, the tuna was amazing,(must have fab chefs) when it finally arrived it's a shame as it was like that the... We recently stayed here for a friends wedding. The setting was stunning, great sunsets, amazing beach with lots of watersports (better than Muri I thought). The rooms, setting etc were a bit tired, though perfectly adequate when you don't spend too much time in your room! Comfy beds too!

Popped in here to have a Sangria - something on our "must do" list every time we go to Rarotonga. Stood at the bar being totally ignored for about 10 minutes - despite the fact that there were four staff were behind the bar at various times during the 10 minutes - far more effort was put into personal conversations... We had our wedding at the Rarotongan beach resort and spa on the 10th February 2014 and till this day we still wish we could do it all over again as we had such a great time, it was like a perfect dream! The resort, the honeymoon suite, the ceremony and the reception were breathtaking. The staff and most important... More

Not the greatest place to stay. The rooms are run down, the service is appalling. The activities get canceled. Food and drink is over priced. On the positives it is on a great beach and there is a nice adults swimming pool I stayed in this resort 8 years ago also and it was run down then so you can... More

On our 2nd visit to Rarotonga, we decided to try this resort. On arrival at reception all seemed okay and we were pointed the directions to our room. Venturing along the pathway, towards our block of units, I had an inkling that our room was not going to be what we had seen in the brochure. Exactly that, utter disappointment... More

This resort has a 4 star rating but should be 1 - 1.5 star rating. The entire resort needs a major refurbishment & some love. We booked in for 11 nights but checked out after 4. Initially we were in the 200 village deluxe beachfront villas. We were "upgraded" to a larger room but the decor & maintenance of this... More

2nd time that I've stayed at the Rarotongan and I wouldn't hesitate to go back. This time round we went to the new years eve show which was fantastic, there was a buffet and entertainment put on, a fire dance and a a little firework display afterwards. The food, the drinks, the staff, the cleanliness was all luxury. The snorkeling... More

The hotel's location is not in doubt, with the best snorkelling on the island, but the facilities (officially rated 4-star) are much to be desired. This is NOT a 4-star hotel by international standards...it does have a lot of facilities that you would expect, but the whole place is incredibly dated and needs updating (room decoration, restaurant menu, beach furniture...
