Excellent position, just in front of the sea and five minutes by car from the entrance of the Paklenica park (wonderful excursions on the Velebit mountains). Air-conditioned and clean rooms. Lunch and dinner times were too short and strict, we were always in a hurry and couldn't eat serenely.

Dear svetlana, Thank you for your review. We are happy that you have chosen this charming location,... If I may guess, you must have tried the Photo Jeep Safari, the one-day excursion trip that takes you to the the footsteps of the Velebit mountain surrounding the National Paklenica Park. This trip is where you can hear all about the traditional... More

This is a modern hotel, well laid out, with spacious, comfortable rooms, superb location, very nice private beach, attractions such as a pizza bar, terraces for group meetings, well-kept hotel grounds including a park and a kid's play corner . The restaurant is large, with an extensive choice of exciting food, the staff are friendly and welcoming. A few things they... More

We spent three nights here as part of a Saga coach tour. Unlike the other hotels this one was generally poor and hardly reflected its three star status. When we arrived we were met by a drunken mob playing in the pool... this may work for the 18-30 set but not us oldies! Restaurant food was okay but we were... More

By cold I refer to the general feeling about the place as if some staff feel that guests are an unwelcome distraction. With the sea in front and the wild expanses of the Paklenica National Park behind, the location could not have been better. However despite booking a "park view" room all I had from my rather compact room was... More

We chose this hotel because of its location- and were not disappointed!! The beautiful Adriatic Sea and the inviting mountains of Paklenica made our holiday unforgettable.Hotel Alan is big and consists of high and low sections, some newer than others. Our room in the low part was clean and simple w. a small balcony overlooking a tennis court.Breakfast and dinner (... We booked a seaview room with evening buffet meals at this hotel for 3 nights in October. Our room was comfortable with a balcony providing us with a lovely side seaview but the other window was made of darkly tinted glass and that spoilt the beautiful sunsets and view of Pag Island. We were told it could not be opened... More

After driving for 5 hours in a wind and rain storm down the coast of Croatia, we found this hotel. It was more than we could ask for, offering a wonderful spa (no charge) and dinner buffet (optional). The rooms were comfortable and the included breakfast buffet was excellent. As we were there in the off season, the hotel was... More

As the previous reviewer said - you can't miss this hotel - it's on the edge of the shore with beautiful views - but it stands out from miles away. We were here for 3 nights as part of Saga Holidays tour of Croatia, visiting Zadar, Sibenik, the Plitvice National Park & Krka Waterfalls - all within easy travel. We... More

You can’t miss this hotel -- it is the tallest building in the area! It is a resort with all the usual amenities. I had room 908 - a corner room on the top floor with a balcony. liked that they put a large drying rack on the balcony. The room was the same size as other rooms, but had... More
