Just been to rugby for finals great day then back to hotel great staff very helpful and friendly. Ideal location hope to go back soon . Steve and Karen .
Went here for a pub meal on January 1st. This meant being met by very hung over staff ... one of the girls behind the bar even apologized for not being able to help us answer a menu question, but it was her first day ... sorry but who hires a half drunk teenager to start the day after New...

Don't be fooled by the hospitable pub atmosphere when you enter, or the quite smart and clean public areas, it goes downhill after that! The room was clean but cold and the radiator did not work. It was very poorly lit and there was only one bedside light which had a mind of it's own, so reading was easiest in...

I have never given a hotel a bad review. I have to say, that the food, especially the breakfast, at this place is wonderful. The location is perfect (a stone's throw from Kew tube station and nearby gardens). HOWEVER, I was completely covered in bed bug bites all over my body, which lasted on my skin for almost a month....

All I wanted was bed and breakfast. To my surprise it was a first class stay. Realy it is a pub with rooms but the accomodation was clean, high standard and spacious. The breakfast was full of choice and the staff proved to be very friendy and helpful. I did not dring in the pub or eat so cannot comment.
Booked for a Rugby weekend, ideal for Twickenham a few stops away. Staff very good but seemed a bit stretched especialy in the morning for breakfast, they did their best but it was a bit busy for only two waiting? Room, food and drink very good. No carpark but did not have a problem parking on the street as it...

Given it's good points I have repeatedly forgiven it's poor customer service, and continued to pop in for a quick drink/ food from time to time.
However...

Once gain I am left feeling let down and disappointed by the lack of professionalism and cordiality from the staff at the Kew Inn.
I am a local and have visited on at least half a dozen occassions over the last 18 months and would have been many times more had it not been for a consistently poor customer service...

Great location, very close to tube station and main entrance to Kew Gardens. Staff very unfriendly. Parking very difficult. Room quite nice but our room was located over the bar which was very noisy as we could hear bar staff moving around and laughing up until 12.30am. walls very thin could hear both TVs on either side of our room....

Only a short distance from the Kew Gardens Tube Station, this solid main road Victorian building gives out a welcoming warmth since the front door opens immediately into the horse-shoe shaped cosy bar/restaurant on the ground floor, with good aromas coming from the visible grill area. This eating and drinking area has wooden tables and a stone floor with easy...
