I visited for an early Sunday lunch and was pleased to see my favourite (Scotch roast beef with all the trimmings) was on tne menu. It waw deliciously tender, with generous portions and lots of vegetables. The staff were were pleasant and professional. There was an 'Artic roll' (home made) dessert with strawberries/sauce which was also delish. The pub and... More

My first visit here was at the invitation of a friend for dinner. The food, ambience and wines struck me as delightful. I've since been back and continue to be impressed. They have a very good selection of beers and the wines have been chosen with care and diligence. The fabric of the building is lovely as well. Understated class.... More

We stayed here last weekend as a convenient base with free on-street parking, from which to head into central London. The hotel is above a very pleasant pub, where we dined on the Saturday evening. Very good food; the home made potted shrimps were delicious, the steak and triple cooked chips cooked perfectly and the fattoush salad nicely balanced with... More

stayed there for several nights while visiting london to dampen down london's clamor. i heartily recommend it as an antidote to the usual crowdedness and frenetic pace. kew gardens is about half a mile away, and another fantastic refuge.

We stayed one night as we were going to a wedding in Kew Gardens. On arrival the receptionist could not have been more welcoming. The room was a good size, very clean and bright. The bed was very comfortable. As it was raining we decided not to walk to the gardens so the receptionist organised a taxi for us. It's... More

Stayed for 3 nights as an alternative to staying in central London when in town for work - looking for something cheaper and more spacious - I used to live in Kew so know the hotel well but now live overseas. Dinner menu is really good - interesting dishes - I'm veggie so went for the edible Kew Gardens -... More

We went here for a wedding reception. It's a lovely looking pub and the staff were pleasant. Decent selection of drinks and two outdoor seating areas. Major let down was the food. The sit down meal and nibbles before hand were absolutely covered in salt, it really ruined the meal for us. It's a shame as it would have been... More

Thanks to the lovely and fantastic staff at Kew Gardens hotel, our special day was even more special. The staff were friendly and everyone who attended said how great they all were. The hotel rooms were fantastic so comfy. Would recommend everyone to stay here and would definitely recommend engaged couples to get married here. The manager Barry done everything... More

Spent a Sunday night here at this so called gastropub, evening Sunday roast consisted of some very tasty roast beef and yorkshire pudding but the potatoes had obviously been cooked for some time and were hard and dry (probably why we were offered extra gravy to soften them). Our room no1 was one of the smallest "superior" rooms of any that... More
