An outstanding hotel, pub and restaurant in Kew - a real gem. I visited London for a College reunion in November and checked in on the Saturday afternoon as the big England v South Africa Rugby game was taking place at Twickenham. Although the pub and restaurant was busy. the staff were very attentive and welcoming with the pub and... More

Good location, nice pub and restaurant but the room I got was a bit tired. My bed was rock hard and this is of course a matter of taste, but I suffered. Very tiny shower. The staff is very helpful and you do get good service. Recommended if you like a hard bed and are tiny enough to fit into... More

We were three fellas from Ireland - all friends and stayed at this lovely place in Kew in last week of August 2014. We arrived, too early, in the hope we could leave our travel bags - no problem and had coffee. We stayed for two nights and we were very happy. The breakfast area is very relaxing and the... More

We stayed here for two nights in September to visit Kew Gardens which is a few minutes’ walk away. Our good sized room was at the front of the hotel and although traffic was constant it wasn’t too noisy. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. We ate there both days and enjoyed the evening meals and the generous... More

Stayed in January on business and have managed to stay again in August. Great character and excellent service. It's a real treat and nicer than staying in the larger chains in London. Breakfast is great and cooked to order. Rooms spacious and have a cute rubber duck in the bath! Bar is great and food excellent. Free dog treats for... More

I really enjoyed this hotel. The hotel is an old building so quirky and unusual and full of character and charm. The staff are attentive, friendly and welcoming. My room was of a generous size and was quiet and comfortable. A lovely location and within walking distance of Kew Gardens and with plenty of other restaurants within easy distance too.

We had to find accommodation at short notice after our booked accommodation proved less than suitable. The staff at the Coach and Horses were exemplary. They did all they could to support our stay. Very clean and comfortable rooms with a view over Kew green. The sound proofing on the windows in appreciated. Excellent breakfast and we were grateful for... More

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at the Coach and Horses for 3 days. We could not fault it at all. The room was great and quiet and clean. Staff were always very helpful in a genuine manner. The quality of the food was very good and we had no reason to venture out to take pot... More

A great hotel/pub well located for Kew Gardens (the purpose of our stay) and tube station for easy exploration of many other points of interest across London. Service was friendly and efficient. Room was spacious and well appointed with good quality furnishings. Enjoyed a delicious evening meal & breakfast in the wonderfully styled restaurant. Will definitely stay here again on... More

We have stayed here before & will do so again & my husband uses this pub hotel for business trips to London too. Can't praise this place enough. We love the vibe here - exciting, bustling but quality of service is not diminished. Great food, lovely decor throughout and so much attention to detail. The special deal of 3 nights,... More
