This place was amazing. We booked a one bedroom with kitchen, but were upgraded to the Hibiscus Villa. Lucky us- it was stunning. All open-air except for our bedroom. An open dining room & living area complete with comfy sofa, tv and stereo, a private pool, and equipped kitchen. All surrounded by lush green gardens and walled off. Our own... More

The pool area was really nice and clean. Though you had to get up early to get a place because some long time senior residents seemed to think they owned their sunbeds! German-type towel sunchair reservation was common! We had a villa with an outdoor kitchen. The whole place was moskito infested! The open bathroom was full of moskitos and... More

Beautiful setting, just off the main road but not noisy. Not a very impressive entrance but once inside my perception changed dramatically. This is a complex of one and two bedroom villas, some single storey some two. All are set in landscaped gardens with swimming pools (some private) and rills full of fish. Breakfast is served either on your own... More

We stayed 5 nights in one of the single villas that circle the common swimming pools. The bedroom was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The bathroom is a separate room, partly exposed to the outside. On the other side of the bedroom is the large fully equipped kitchen, also partly open-air, which would be perfect for longer stays. There is a... More

Love staying here. The staff were fantastic and couldn't do enough for you. The rooms were very spacious and clean. The B&B is set back from the road but close to small shops and eateries. It is away from all the touristy areas too, as much as you can on Bali. The big winner for me with this place was... More

It felt like hours of looking for the perfect hotel in Nusa Dua. The 5 star thing is what Nusa Dua is known for and I would not mind that for a couple days, but I wanted something authentic and Balinese. It's rare to not find a tourist trap in Nusa Dua, but I wanted to be close to the... More

The B&B is set back from the main road opposite a strip of upmarket hotels. Having walked along the beach front and seen all these hotels, I'm super glad I stayed at Rumah. An authentic Balinese experience - something truly missing from the hotels across the street. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was really good, the rooms clean... More

Stayed at the bougenville. Was very relaxing, awesome, and staff and service were excellent. Paradise. Pure paradise. You can ask the staff to bring breakfast. The Bougenville had a private plunge, but there is also a centralized pool. The package offers a free Balinese dinner at Bumbu Bali, which is excellent, awesome time!

We have returned to paradise :) Rumah Bali is the second home I yearn for, and after yet another busy year back home, this paradise is the reward for the year's efforts. What keeps bringing us back? So many different things. This is a slow time experience for me, the time to take in the idyllic surroundings. The location and... More
