Beautiful house and gardens. Really lovely hospitable hosts. Delicious breakfasts with plenty of choice and fresh fruit salad taken in beautiful spacious dining room at a table shared with the other guests (only 3 guests rooms in all) which was great to have even more good company. Stayed for 5 nights and really loved the break. Would definitely recommend.

After a long journey (6 hours plus owing to roadworks) we had a lovely welcome from Julie, including tea and home made cake. Feeling revived we went out to explore the local area and were impressed by the garden and the beach. We had a very comfortable stay in the larger room, which had lovely views over the garden. Breakfasts... More

Tea and scones in the two acre garden was very welcome at the end of our journey. Our room was furnished to a high standard and spotlessly clean, with a lovely... More

Rooms were spacious and very clean with all you would need including a few nice extras . When we arrived very tired we were given tea... More

We recently spent 3 nights at The Old Rectory and it was by far the most welcoming and charming place we have ever stayed. When we arrived after a long drive, Julie served us freshly baked scones and tea outside in the beautifully kept gardens. This was typical of the thoughtful attention she and Michael put into making our stay... More
