We had a room booked for 2 in order to travel to and from The World Bowls at Potters, which was a mere 30 minutes max away. When we first entered onto the driveway, we knew we were about stay somewhere special, and we were not dissappointed. This big old house was fantastic from the moment we set eyes on... More

Simply the best B&B we have ever stayed in. The rooms were really comfortable and the breakfast was great. Julie and her husband Mike made us feel really at home. Plenty to do and see in the area too, even in mid winter. We stayed a full week and felt really relaxed when we got home. Thoroughly recommend it.

Lovely place to stay very comfortable and friendly set in beautiful grounds. I highly recommend it. The area was good & we had great meal at waterfront restaurant. There is also a very good farm shop and restaurant at Friday street. Would definitely return.

Please visit this establishment. Following our excellent stay for the weekend in the master bedroom we thoroughly recommend. It is a beautiful Grade II listed residence set back from the main road. We were made very welcome, cream tea on arrival. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts..... The room was spotlessly clean and the breakfasts were excellent.

The Old Rectory is the place to go for a relaxing break in a characterful country house set in beautiful gardens close to the Suffolk coast. The warmth of the welcome and attention to detail provided by the owners, Julie and Mike, is second to none. My wife and I went in the middle of October with my son and... More

We stayed in the twin room which was fantastic. Its bathroom was larger than most people's lounges and everything was spotless. The breakfasts were amazing but best of all was Julie's warm welcome. The Old Rectory is perfectly positioned to travel to all the best parts of Suffolk. And how lovely to arrive after a long drive to be welcomed... More
