We got a deal from Travelzoo to check out the grand opening. We thought we were just going to get a room with 2 queens but they must have upgraded us to a suite, because it was large and included a sofa sleeper, We did use that too, and it was extremely comfortable. The beds were amazingly soft, and the comforters were thick. Furnishings were classy and the kids loved the flat screen TV.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Even the room-cleaning ladies were smiling at the kids and said hi each time they went past. The gent at the front desk took the time to help us figure out the routes on the Metra and bus, since we were going to Navy Pier. We didn't use the hotel shuttle to the Metra, because it wasn't going to leave until around 4:00 p.m. and we wanted to go earlier. We just drove to the station, which was a few minutes away.

The breakfast was good and filling. The pool was nice and the chairs around it comfy.
