This is a lovely little spot. The rooms are lovely - cosy with a lovely view over the canal. The lady running the place is very welcoming and quite a character - to say she likes talking would be a definite understatement! The food was fabulous and I'd happily stay again. Very good value too.

Set in the grounds of a ruined 1000 year old Abbey, and overlooking wooded hills that will not have changed in all those years, this small hotel manages to add to the sense of occasion. The Manageress is welcoming, speaks fluent English and is enthusiastic to meet guests needs and wants. The bed rooms enjoy all the facilities expected, and... More

We celebrated our 42nd wedding anniversary with a family dinner on May 1st. It was a return trip as we had celebrated our 41st at the same place last year. It was great to be back. The pre-dinner cocktails were superb as were the menu choices. We each chose individual 3 course meals for a shade under 30 euros. Everything... More

Great restaurant! Excellent food, exciting fresh ingredients, superb flavours. Our host was vivacious. Sat in front of a roaring woodburning stove. Interesting quirky place. Great area for exploring and walking.

We had been to Les Jardin de l'Abbaye just to have a drink outside on their terrace, which was wonderfully relaxing in such beautiful surroundings. We liked it so much we decided to go back their of an evening for a meal. Four of us went for a meal in this lovely restaurant, and can't wait to go back. We... More

This hotel is lovely, close to amazing L'Abbaye de Bon Repos. We stayed only for one night (60 Euro, march 2011 had to state nov 2011), but definitely will stay again when will be in Brittany. The room was great, and bed very comfy. Bathroom was a little dated but very clean. We ate dinner at the hotel. food was... More

a quiet spot, adjoining the abbey ruins and a generally rural environment close to the Lac Guerledan (though some evidence that in high season this could be a populous location for the "camping vans".). This hotel is small, 5 rooms, ours seemed to be a bit dated but absolutely suited to the price-range, pleasant and adequate. The environment is somewhat... More

I was totally charmed by this tiny hotel tucked away adjacent to the Abbe de la Repos. The decor isn't "off the shelf" but a quaint mix of eclectic items.....old wicker chairs, patchwork quilt, painted wooden furniture and fittings not new and 'distressed' but showing the effect of their genuine age. The ensuite bathroom was almost as large as the... More

This hotel is lovely, in an outstanding position overlooking the Brest - Nantes canal and next to the beautiful L'Abbaye de Bon-Repos. We stayed here on a cycle touring holiday and there was a garage/shed available for bike storage overnight.. The room was very comfortable and the views from the window superb. The bathroom was a little dated but immaculately... More
