Island Expeditions is an excellent tour guide with knowledgeable guides and staff. Activities were well planned and you always felt supported by the staff. There is always an effort to educate about both environment and Belize culture as well as entertain and provide adventure. There were always lots of options including hammock time. The Food was AMAZING!, Tasty, healthy, prepared... More

It is a wonderful place to stay for 2-3 nights. If you like kayak, snorkeling you'll feel like in paradise. We saw a lot of corals, fish (snapper, barracuda, grouper, batfish...). We have chosen Island Expedition to travel for 2 nights to the island and were very satisfied: http://www.islandexpeditions.com/. Super service, guides and the best cuisine!!! Do not forget to... Spent a week at Glover's Reef with Island Expeditions and I would highly recommend this experience for those who need a good douse of action and solitude. The food that was prepared by Martha and Diana was plentiful and allowed you to get a good idea of Belizean type fare. Why go to another culture and eat what you can... More

I am a bit slow on this one and I have to say that both my sister and I loved this trip. Even 3 1/2 years later, we still talk about what a great time we had. We were at Glover's Reef for a week and bought one of the mainland extensions. If you are looking for a five star... More

We recently did a trip to Glovers Reef with Island Expeditions. My partner and I have never done a guided trip before so we were a bit hesitant because we are used to very independent adventure travel. It ended up being a super trip! The guides were great (one canadian, 3 belizean) and each had their own skills. We had... More

One poster wrote that "you wouldn't want to get voted off this island". I'm laughing because I now know which guide they must have had! Absolutely A-One scheduling and organization. The only thing better than the snorkelling was the staff who were, WITHOUT EXCEPTION, amazing people; funny, entertaining, knowledgeable, helpful and professional to a fault. You don't have to be... We had a wonderful on Glovers Reef. Every picture we took looked like it belonged on a postcard. All of the staff were nice and knowledgeable about the wildlife. The walled tents had comfortable beds, plenty of shelves for storage, and a oil lamp. All of our meals were delicious. My husband had some food requirements and they were all... More

In the past few years we have traveled to Maui, up and down the US west coast, Provincetown, and just got back from a month in Dominica and Aruba, but with every experience I end up comparing it back to our idyllic 5 days on Glover's reef. The arrival experience primes you well to fall in love with the place.... More

We had a wonderful time during our week with Island Expeditions. Our expectations were met or exceeded on all fronts. Expectations that were met: a small, agreeable, and interesting group of expeditioners; a beautiful, natural setting; lots of snorkeling and kayaking; safety; hygiene; pleasant meals and accomodations; and all in the setting of a developing economy. Other expectations were greatly... More

I stayed here for 2 nights as part of a paddling trip. We stayed in the walled tents: mine had two single beds with linen. Two ablution blocks are provided with 4 toilets & 2 showers (feeding rain water so no ability to adjust pressure or temerpature). There are an additional 2 solar-warmed shower bags however these are in the... More
