Stayed on their 3 night weekend package (Sunday accommodation free). Stayed numerous times before. Very comfortable rooms. Excellent food and service which we believe is value for money. Lovely real ale and a great wine menu. Worth a visit and not far from the A1 between junctions 50 and 51. Excellent for the dales and north york moors.

left with mixed feelings regards our overnight stay , on the positives the room was clean , warm and comfortable . The food in the evening was good and there was a good selection at breakfast time with top ups of fresh coffee. The big let down was the service by the staff , not that they weren't efficient but... Just been back for the third time. We had a really warm room in the Annex, great food, friendly owners and staff. Just off the A1 so can head for the North York Moors or the Yorkshire Dales depending on the weather.

found this little gem after searching google. A lovely inn full of character, room was more than adequate for our one night stay. We ate in the lounge and the meal was delicious, and of exceptional quality. The owners were very friendly and our waitress provided an excellent service. Breakfast was in the dining room and again we were treated... More

We have visited the Nags Head around this time of year for a few years now and are always happy with the good value accommodation and the excellent food. We were made to feel very welcome and really enjoyed our stay. I look forward to another visit next year.

We stayed at the Nags Head on our way to the south and enjoyed almost every moment, (only the fire alarm going off at 04:30 spoilt it). The welcome was very friendly, the room was large and very warm. This is a family run Inn & restaurant in a very quiet village just off the A1/M. Edward the landlord made... More

My second visit here, first while on a training course nearby. Super place to stop, not far from the A1. Nice warm rooms with soft towels in the bathroom. Clean and comfortable. Great choice for dinner. Couldn't squeeze in a sweet after the lovely starters and mains. Husband enjoyed the real al and admired the wine list, choosing a very... More

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Spotlessly clean tidy rooms, seemed like new bathroom fittings, excellent evening meal & breakfast. Was very quiet in the pub late Saturday afternoon which surprised me but plenty of people later in the restaurant. Landlord was very welcoming but did swear once or twice (the f word) in general conversation which shocked me. Wasn't so keen... More

Taken for birthday treat and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. When we first arrived I was a little shocked to find the inn closed. However, we checked into a very nice suite with a sitting room and en suite. All the necessaries were there. Dinner was chosen from the al a carte menu and whilst a little... More
