I traveled with a WW11 veteran ( he was not at Omaha Beach during the war). The room was small, poorly ventilated, had a disinfectant smell. We ate dinner in the attached restaurant. The food was not so great. A husband and wife own this establishment. Her name is Florence. After we had dinner they invited us to the bar... More

We didn't stay at this guest house but ate lunch there. The staff are friendly and approachable and the service is fast. Free Wi-Fi also helped a lot after a number of failures at other hotels and restaurants. This place is right on Omaha Beach and is a nice place to stop after a tour.

Right on Omaha Beach! I was there for the DDay 70th so the owners were obviously working twice as hard and still able to accommodate me. Jean-Jaques, his wife and the staff were kind and knew enough english to help me out. Walk up the hill to the museum..downstairs for meals, which were affordably priced. I stayed in room 4... More

We made reservations for this small quaint hotel about two months before we planned to arrive. I sent an email with our reservation details and quickly received a response that my reservation was confirmed. Two rooms were held for us (one for a friend) and I was told that no credit card was needed, just pay when we check out!... More

The room we had was a basic room. It had a small TV. There was a steam heat radiator, but had no fan. The bath was cold without leaving the door open to get some heat in it. There is no A/C, nor did it have a clock/alarm or phone. The shower was open to the rest of the bath.... More

D-Day House is a part of Logis France, which guarantees a nice stay in comfortable rooms and surroundings. We liked this little house, with its little restaurant (good food), terrasse and swimmingpool. There is not so many rooms available, so you should book early. We will be back.

My husband and I booked this hotel through Venere.com and was sort of nervous about it. There weren't a lot of pictures available and not a lot of reviews at the time. We had been traveling all over Germany and France and had our share of horrible hotel choices. So when we arrived at D-Day House on Omaha Beach, we... More
