This was our first night stop on the Queen Charlotte Track and it proved to be everything we hoped it would be. It's position is beautiful sitting in extensive grounds on the water's edge with its own pier (from which you can swim which was very welcome as it was a very hot day). Our room was fabulous. Very spacious... More

The first place we stayed out while doing the Queen Charlotte walk. Very nice an relaxing. The room was spacious and very practically designed. The room overlooked the bay and was just beautiful. The meals were really nice and service was perfect.

The resort is such a treat. It is great as a stopover for the night and hot food if you are hiking the Queen Charlotte Track. It is also a great place to just do nothing or to go for short walks, around the lodge. The king salmon is a must try, in general the food is awesome. Lunches are... More

The setting is spectacular, the food amazing, the staff great (90% of them). However it was hugely overpriced, they did not say you have to pay a lot for a return boat ride there that makes it super unreasonable and for over $300 for the chalet there is no breakfast included. I would go back to the area but look... More

Furneaux is a lovely mix of relaxation and comfort. There is lots to do - kayaks, walks, fishing (we caught blue cod and gurnard off the jetty), swimming and sunbathing. You can take the choice of self catering (which we did mainly) or dine at the restaurant or bar. The staff were very helpful and couldn't do enough for us.... More

Beautiful spot on the track but we were very wet when we arrived and were disappointed there was no drying room or guest laundry. Given so many walkers stop here I would think this would be a good idea! Room was beautiful and the food in restaurant was terrific too.

We stayed here on our first night of walking the Queen Charlotte Sound Track. The rooms are pleasant with comfortable beds, a kitchen and a good shower (much needed after walking!) The food was very nice (tip - when you arrive book in for dinner. We didn't know this and were left with only a late dinner reservation time available).... More

We arrived here after a days walk from Ship Cove, and nice 3-5 hour walk over some reasonable hills, and grabbed a quick beer as soon as we landed in the very nice pub in the old buildings. The beer selection is good with the usual stuff a long with some craft beers too. And also plenty of ice cream... More

We stayed here between 31 and 3 Jan. Transport was arranged through Cougarline (departs set times of the day) and was around $95 each return. Beers on board were $5. Our journey set off around 6pm and we arrived at our lodge for around 8pm. You stop along various resorts along the way, stunning views and an enjoyable ride. We... More
