This is a very special hotel. It is in a small town on the dramatic coastline of the Cilento, in southern Campania. The rooms are modern, very clean, and decorated with fine taste. The breakfast is ample and of quality. The focal point is a terrace with a spectacular view over the blue Mediterranean. You could well sit here entranced... More

My husband and I stayed three nights at Marulivo Hotel in late September, 2013 and it was as magical a place as I imagined after looking at photos and reading reviews. The hotel is a multi-level renovated monastery with stunning views and peaceful quiet. All stone, plaster, iron, wood, soft colors, and quiet elegance. Very beautifully done. Spotless everywhere is... More

Spent 4 nights in Pisciotta at the Marulivo. Rooms are very nice. The patio and it's view are great. Lea and Massimo couldn't be nicer or more helpful. Lea even went to the city hall to translate my requests for information on my family. If you go to Pisciotta - stay at the Marulivo.

Situated in the old hill town, this hotel was a bit tricky to find from map and GPS so we called them from the square and Massimo arrived in a moment, helped us to find the car park ajd he and his delightful and informative wife Leyla took us personally to the hotel, up and down winding passageways, but only... Have just returned from a fabulous week staying in the Topazio apartment that belongs to The Marulivo hotel. Words can't describe what an amazing place it is. Massimo and Lea are perfect hosts and nothing was too much trouble. They made us feel as if we were the most important guests and were always happy to talk and advise about... More

Me and my partner stayed at Marulivo for 5 days - 2 in one of the appartments (Topazio) and 3 nights in the hotel. We absolutely loved it - Massimo and Lea where brilliant hosts and the hotel has a real relaxed feel. The rooms are simple but beatiful and the views are spectacular. Enjoying (amazing) breakfasts looking over the... More

We have somewhat mixed feelings about Petra Cottage for only after we arrive are we told that if we use the AC in the bedroom we will have to pay for it! This is quite shocking considering that it was our understanding that this was already included in the price we had agreed to pay. In the end we are... More

Pisciotta is the village in Italy where everyone in my hometown of Amsterdam, New York immigrated to in the early 1900's. So to say to visit Pisciotta was a life-long dream would be an understatement. I booked the Maulivo strictly by reviews from others who have visited and was not disappointed in the least bit. We arrived with certainly more... More

We arrived late in the evening after a long drive from Naples, feeling a bit jaded. However, 30 minutes later we were sitting on the terrace of a nearby restaurant with a bottle of red wine and a plate of seafood pasta and feeling entirely different. The welcome at Marulivo is second to none. Massimo met us, found a carparking... More

Marulivo is unique in its design, seaview and more than friendly service. Besides, owner Lea is an encyclopedia on Palinuro's places to visit and more than willing to share her knowlegde with her guests.
