Our party of eight stayed here as part of our transScotland walk. Tayburn House is well located, and central, just 5 minutes walk to the river, pub, town centre, and Birnam Wood (of Shakespearean fame). The rooms are a bit old fashioned, but spacious and comfortable with a view out on lovely greenery. Unfortunately several members of our party had... More

Upon booking, we were given directions to the property, which proved to be very clear and easy to follow, and we had no trouble finding the place. The room was comfortable, and the breakfast excellent. The lounge room was very nice, and the pseudo log fire gave a lovely warm glow to the room. It was but a short walk... More

Holiday including Ryder Cup. Mike is an ideal host always ready to help and give advice on what to do in the area. Room was pleasant and well appointed. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice.it is well situated North of Perth with plenty of places to visit.

We (4 people) stayed at Mike's place for two nights during our Scotland roundtrip in summer 2013. The Tayburn House is located in a quite side-street in Birnam (even more quite than the rest of the village) and a really nice place to stay. The rooms are clean and tidy and the host, Mike, seems to have had every Job... More

A lovely little B&B in Perthshire. Excellent value for money and alround excellent service from the owner. The bathroom suite was a wee bit 'dated' but quite frankly it only added to the charm of the place. Cannot faut it at all. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Stayed for one night on an extended holiday (had just stayed at a hotel near Crieff which had its faults). This place was brilliant, the room was clean, spaciouswith en-suite and nicely decorated. Everyone at the B&B was very friendly and welcoming and the breakfast was delicious. Would definately stay here in future it was excellent.

We have just returned form our Scottish holiday and we spent two very pleasant nights at this lovely B&B. It's quite cosy, being only four double rooms, very comfortable and very clean. Mike, the host, can't do enough for you. The breakfast, and the breakfast room, is superb. We would certainly stay there again if visiting that part of Scotland.

We stayed one night as part of our cycling trip. The bathroom was large with a great shower. We loved all the B&Bs we stayed in, but this had the best bathroom of all. Of course the room was terrific too. It is a great location and Mike, the owner was extremely helpful when my nephew asked about buying a... More
