Externally- situation is ideal, lovely quaint courtyard, very central for outdoor pursuits or travelling the area. Internally - bedrooms downstairs are small and feel dark.. Beds very uncomfortable . Bathroom smelled of damp and taps wouldn't either turn on of off properly, finish was very tired and requires upgrade. Shower dreadful, could spit faster. Booked this cottage for a valentine's weekend. Nice setting and looked encouraging on arrival however the cottage was freezing when we arrived; whilst appreciating it is winter, I would suggest the owner ask a neighbour to put the electric heaters on prior to guests arriving during the winter months. We decided to holiday in the UK this year, mainly due to the awful Pound/Euro exchange rate.
