Perfect overnight stop between Sydney and Melbourne. Basic, clean, adequate, good shower. Above average country restaurant (better than the pub which wasn't open on Thursday, despite the description on urban spoon.) Friendly staff and locals, good wine selection.

We decided to stay off the beaten track in Jugiong on our way home this trip. At first I thought it was going to be great - the place is a little dated...but how wrong I was! It's certainly not the Ritz, but perfect for a short stay. Nestled on a couple of beautiful acres (with a Shetland Pony in... More

We have stayed overnight in this motel a few times when travelling to Melbourne. While the rooms are certainly dated, they are clean, comfortable and very cheap. We have also enjoyed eating in the associated pub and having a coffee at the Long Track Pantry down the road.

We stayed at the Jugiong Motor Inn for one night whilst travelling from Forster to the Yarra Valley. It offers basic, clean rooms with comfortable beds, hot showers and very friendly owners. There is also a bar that offers hearty Australian pub meals at affordable prices. I noticed that a previous reviewer complained about noise but it was very quiet... More

The rooms have a style that resembles an Australian version of Hitchcock's "Psycho". Plus the beds are like similar to resting on floor boards. However the service is outstanding and very friendly. The surprise outstanding feature is the steak it's huge, incredibly fresh and perfectly cooked. Don't let the exterior or style deter you. If you want a great meal... More

found this hidden gem while travelling between Sydney and Melbourne. The owners were welcoming and hospitable and our room was clean and well appointed. We enjoyed a few relaxing drinks with fellow travellers and locals and were lucky enough to be there on roast night and then sat down to a generous serve of roast lamb and all the traditional... We stayed in room 4 and at the back of our room was kids yelling and screaming, while the front of our room hosted the out side drinking area. At 10.30pm we complained as we could not sleep. Management made a attempt to calm the place down but failed. At 11.15 I took matters into my own hands with a... More

We stayed here overnight while traveling with our 4 month old. Clean sufficient room. The owners were happy to accommodate us arriving in the middle of the night and even turned the heating on so the room was warm when we arrived at 1:30am!

The Jugiong Motor Inn is a pleasant little motel, clean and very affordable. Excellent stop when travelling from Melbourne to Canberra and knowing that one is running late and will not arrive before dark.

We have been stopping at Jugiong Motor Inn now for several years on our way to and from trips to Melbourne. It is a cute little country hamlet. The Motel is cheap, clean, basic and friendly. Love the fact there is a bar and a restaurant that provides lusty meals. When you ask for 'rare' steak you actually get RARE... More
