The setting is brilliant, the staff are friendly and helpful. I was in a room up the back and out of the way. It was a bit dated but fine for a night. The plumbing creaked a bit when running the tap and flushing the toilet. Breakfast was good.

We stayed here as a group over a weekend during one of Chepstow's race meetings. From the start we were made to feel very welcome, including one of the staff offering to drive us around when we could not get a taxi on race day.
