My daughter, sister and I had the pleasure of spending just 1 night in this lovely b & b. We called from the road on the way through to fishguard to catch our ferry the next day and we were lucky enough that they could fit us in. Our room was perfect, very quaint, comfortable and spacious Tintern itself and... More

Yes this place is a charming house in a beautiful location with very hospitable hosts Anika and Ian, who are fun and very helpful and there is a really nice cosy sitting room for guests. What it really does well though is the obvious- a first rate bed and a first rate breakfast. I had a kipper both days -... More

A lovely place to stay for a weekend. Friendly, welcoming hosts, best nights' sleep for some time and amazing breakfasts. Ian's smoked salmon omelet is a winner! Huge choice to suit everyone's tastes. Even had celebratory champagne to toast another couple's wedding anniversary! Beautiful area to explore. Thoroughly recommend a stay here.

Having just returned for a one night stay at this B&B, I cannot praise it enough. The first thing that strikes you on arrival is the location. It sits directly overlooking the River, and is surrounded by sights of outstanding beauty and tranquility. Tintern itself is a great base to explore the many delights of the surrounding areas. However it... More

First Visit to Tintern and booked into B&B. Welcomed by Ian and Anika and shown to room. Very retro-pretty room with large bed and on-suite shower room. Anika explained about noise from macerator when toilet flushes...loud but soon used to it! Breakfast menu extensive and home-made breads and jams along with organic cereals and full cooked breakfast meal to order...man... More

Allow a little extra time in the morning, said our hostess - breakfast is quite an event here. How right she was! In the end we opted for the traditional, locally sourced and carefully cooked full English (Welsh?) though I had the veggie Glamorgan sausage (yum). We'd definitely like to go back and stay for a week so we could... More

Arrived mid-afternoon to a warm welcome and found a cosy and well appointed room towards the back of the property with its own access to a small courtyard garden. There was also a view of the river Wye from a window seat at the side of the room. Decorated in a cottage-style, the atmosphere was warm and snug and the... More

On our arrival we received a very warm welcome from Anika & Ian. The room was lovely overlooking the river. Breakfast was superb consisting of local, organic and homemade food. This b&b is truly a labour of love. We shall be returning when the weather gets warmer perhaps to see the bluebells & wild garlic.
