This is a truly charming b&b beautifully situated at the river, some 500m away from the abbey. Cute little rooms, a warm welcome, and great breakfast makes this a great experience for anyone visiting the abbey or the surrounding area.

Like other reviewers on this site, we were drawn to the Old Rectory by the website, which now seems out of date or just totally inaccurate. In fairness to Anika, the owner, she quickly refunded our deposit (almost all of it - somehow we ended up paying about £8 ) and accepted that we were not happy with the room.... More

We enjoyed our weekend break here very much . Stayed in the room at the back with a door to the garden, rather flowery decor but in keeping with the age and atmosphere of the place.
