My wife and I got married on a sugarcane farm near Richmond and were looking for somewhere to stay in or near Kloof, that wasn't quite all the way back in Durban. On the advice of friends who live in Kloof, we booked one night's accommodation at Ammazulu African Palace. We only needed one night because we needed to return... More

I enjoyed my stay at AmmaZulu African Palace and I would book it againin the new year because they were very hospitable even though it was a last minute booking. I quite liked the African culture theme and artefacts inside

Wow, I am always amazed at this place! Every time I visit this place, they have upgraded it and one feels more than at home. I love our room, very specious and romantic and the staff is just great. It is a very relaxing palace and we always end our vacation here because of the breath taking experience. Thank you,... More

Friendly staff and nice breakfast. The room I had was spacious with large bathroom with separate shower, all in good condition. Its away from main roads, nice and quiet but you'll need a car and directions. About a 5-10 min drive to local restaurants etc.

It is a masterpiece of a building and all the staff are extremely helpful and accommodating. It's peaceful and tranquil, the perfect place to get away from your daily stress and unwind. In the heart of the Valley of 1000 hills with stunning views.

From Alta and Zama, who are both stars to the awesome setting, our night was amazing. The breakfast prepared was great and the views spectacular. A must is a good camera and take photos at night as well, this place is not to be missed.

Amazing stay at the palace with my husband. The suites are truly stunning, very spacious with a huge comfortable bed and bathroom. Such a peaceful place to escape too where you have lots of privacy and quiet time. It is a boutique hotel and the architecture and artwork is remarkable. Breakfast was good and we took the option of having... More

We purchased a weekend stay at the Ammazulu African Palace via a discount site, for two couples. The accommodation was very unique to say the least - the entire venue is a visual feast! The owner is an architect and collector, and this definitely shines through! PRO'S: The rooms were spectacular - beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean.... More
