It is a masterpiece of a building and all the staff are extremely helpful and accommodating. It's peaceful and tranquil, the perfect place to get away from your daily stress and unwind. In the heart of the Valley of 1000 hills with stunning views.

My company booked me in here advised it was a small B and B but wow what a place the decor is magical and the room superb. Views over the valley fantastic and unashamed luxury. From Alta and Zama, who are both stars to the awesome setting, our night was amazing. The breakfast prepared was great and the views spectacular. A must is a good camera and take photos at night as well, this place is not to be missed.

Amazing stay at the palace with my husband. The suites are truly stunning, very spacious with a huge comfortable bed and bathroom. Such a peaceful place to escape too where you have lots of privacy and quiet time. It is a boutique hotel and the architecture and artwork is remarkable. Breakfast was good and we took the option of having... More

We purchased a weekend stay at the Ammazulu African Palace via a discount site, for two couples. The accommodation was very unique to say the least - the entire venue is a visual feast! The owner is an architect and collector, and this definitely shines through! PRO'S: The rooms were spectacular - beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean.... More

I often stay there on business visits because of the quiet location and spacious rooms. The rooms have a separate lounge with its own catering facility. Mix of African and Bali décor in good taste. It is a unique experience and worth the stay. Your own car is essential as this location is off the main road and away from... More

Everything was to our fullest satisfaction, the entire staff friendly and extremely helpful, Alta is an absolute star - the breakfast was good, served in the breakfast room with view over the valley. We had a two night stay at the Palace but we needed at least a week to fully enjoy our surroundings. With a massive collection of art and artifacts, the owner has created a truly magical and luxurious place to stay. Our suite was beyond our expectations. It was hard to leave! We will most definitely go back. One of... More
