The third visit to our favourite guest house. Stunning location, house, rooms and food. But what really makes this place special are the hosts, Martin and Susie. Look forward to many more visits. Adam and Catherine

We had the pleasure of spending 6 nights at Wooden Cabbage in April. From the moment we arrived to the minute we left Martyn & Susie were the perfect hosts. A friendly welcome was followed by a wonderful dinner on our 1st night. Our double en suite room had stunning views of open fields & valleys, totally tranquil. Wooden Cabbage... More

We stayed at the Wooden Cabbage to celebrate my Mother in Laws birthday while we spent a weekend in Dorset. Martin and Susie are very welcoming. Their home is stunning. Our rooms were very comfortable and very clean. Breakfasts were amazing. Loved their dog.Rayburn. Would thoroughly recommend staying here.

My wife and I stayed at the Wooden Cabbage House for three nights in mid April. The standard of accommodation was wonderful and the house itself is completely charming. I don’t know which we enjoyed more, the meal provided by Susie on our first night which was worth every penny and was better than many very good places that we... More

We found the Wooden Cabbage extremely pleasent accommodation with a very warm and homely feel. The bedrooms were very clean, tastefully decorated and had all you needed. Breakfasts were lovely and set us up for exploring the wonderful location. The b&b is set in lovely sorroundings within the Dorset countryside. Hosts Martyn and Suzy are very welcoming and helpful. This was a last minute booking as we decided to take a break for a night in the Dorset area. My husband found this B&B and booked it immediately for 1 nights stay. Our Hosts Suzie and Martyn are very welcoming. We were welcoming into their beautiful home, which was just stunning. Our room was really nice, ensuite twin, with... More

We stayed for two nights in this beautiful b&b, perched on the hillside in the middle of the stunning Dorset countryside. The rooms were good (one en suite, one with private adjacent bathroom) but it was the quiet attention of the hosts Susie and Martyn that made this a weekend break to remember. The breakfast alone is worth the detour:... More

The Wooden Cabbage is THE place for a quiet and relaxing rural retreat. On a quiet road with lovely views all around. The room we stayed in was luxurious and the bathroom was absolutely gorgeous. Susie and Martyn are great hosts and cook lovely breakfasts. Breakfasts are served in the conservatory, which felt to us as an indoor garden with... More

Just returned from a night at The Wooden Cabbage, and this place is a gem. Totally isolated and off the beaten track. The house is beautiful, full of old world charm. The breakfast was superb and Martyn and Susie are the perfect hosts. Its just a pity we were only able to stay the one night.
