We ate here on Saturday night and had a fabulous meal. We were able to bring our dog so we choose this pub for our meal. We were served by a lovely girl with a Birmingham accent who couldn't do enough for us, she made a fuss of my very tired little girl and my dog. Menu was great with... More

Visited Pooley Bridge after taking one of the Ullswater Steamers and, after quickly realising there is very little in this village worth seeing, had a drink in the Pooley Bridge Inn. The staff behind the bar were friendly and attentive and there were some comfortable seats. However, glancing at the food menu, it was clear that bringing a packed lunch... More

Oh, What can I say..Visited for a one night stay on Easter Sunday. Waited 30 mins to be shown to room, after asking twice and was greeted by a young girl who couldn't make eye contact with us, Stayed in room 6, decent room with balcony and an oak four poster bed (very firm mattress) with en suite, shower, free... We are lucky enough to live near the PBI and we've seen chefs and management teams come and go but the present crew, inspired by hard-working-Hannah are outstanding. The brewery have spent a lot of money restoring the outside to its beautiful best and the food is consistently excellent. Thoroughly recommended.

My sister and I had a lovely stay at the Pooley Bridge Inn. As soon as you walk in the door there is a welcoming feel to place. All the staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms comfortable and clean and the food delicious! Be warned, the portion of sticky toffee pudding is huge! There is a nice relaxed atmosphere... More

We stayed here this week on the £140 deal for two nights B&B and evening meal. The brewery are obviously spending money outside but not inside. Our room was very out dated but the bed was comfy, linen clean as were the towels and the shower was powerful. It's obv dog friendly and the staff were friendly and hardworking especially... More

We have visited pooley bridge for the last 4 years but have only so far eaten in the pooley bridge inn, which was always delicious so as we had a 7 month old pup and knowing it was dog friendly we decided to stay this time. On arrival Room was clean and tidy with balcony facing the village which was... More

We chose this popular Inn as I have stayed here many times as a child and decided to revisit during our week off work. We arrived at the Inn on 3rd March and were greeted on arrival whilst also being allowed to check in early which was great. Room was nice and warm and relatively tidy although TV would not... More

We took two family rooms - plenty of space, comfortable beds, good en-suites and a great nights sleep. Excellent and friendly service both as a hotel and as a pub in the evening - wonderful food, atmosphere and beer. Our second visit and certainly not our last. Thoroughly recommended!
