The location is quiet being high up in the mountains with beautiful views across the valley, but close enough to drive to the main tourist areas. We found the pool area with landscaped gardens very relaxing. There was a good range of drinks available at any time. Breakfasts were good with a wide range of breads and cereals, and plates... more

My new husband and I visited finca el tossal in September last year (2008) at the start of our honeymoon. We were weary and ready for a break after 'the big day' and we were greeted by such warm hosts in Sonia and Torsten...and of course the cava in our bedroom was also a lovely touch (thank you!). Being regulars... more

Our stay at Finca el tossal was fantastic, we felt welcome from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. Even driving from the airport of alicante was a pleasure as you cruise down the "autopista del mediterraneo" and up through the orange and lemon trees to the finca itself. Finca el Tossal is located up in the hills... more

We just spent a week there and we will back for sure. The access to the finca is a narrow winding road, not in the best conditions but far from disastrous (we went up and down with a small car and a scooter, so no need for a 4x4...). The place is lovely, every room different and distinctive and huge!... more

I was at this finca already last year and can only recommend it to everyone who likes silence, nice people from different countries all over the world and a hospitality you will find ruther seldom. For me it is a place to rest and to forget everything, e.g. business, problems, etc. and where you can really relax. Every room looks... more

My partner and I returned from staying for three nights at the Finca El Tossal last night and I am already getting withdrawl symptoms. What a wonderful place! The finca is lovely. The rooms are very well decorated and very clean and comfy. The pool area is lovely for relaxing and the views are out of this world! Sonia and... more

The Finca is located in the middle of nowhere, nicely secluded from all the mass tourism of Costa Blanca. However, it is quite easy to find as the owners will pick you up the first time. The finca is very nicely constructed and has a great pool and lounge area, although we could not benefit from it due to the... more

Small, family-run Italian villa style hotel off the beaten track. Wonderful views and amazing scent of orange blossom in April. Very helpful and pleasant owners. Lovely hotel with comfortable rooms (handmade wooden furniture). Super fresh breakfasts (continental) changing slightly each day. Excellent base for walking in the La Marina Baja area. more

We spent 5 nights at Finca el Tossal in August this year. As another Tripadvisor member has said, it lives up to expectations, where other accommodation may prove disappointing. Rooms are rustic in feel and provide a tasteful, spacious environment. We were easily able to accomodate 2 adults + 2 children in 1 room. The best things about the Finca... more
