We only called in for a quick breakfast stop whilst touring the western isles on our motorcycles and were very impressed with the efficiency and friendliness of the staff, atmosphere, food and service. Would happily stay here if i was in this area again.
I have eaten and drank at The Lagg Hotel on numerous occasions but this was my first “staying” visit and I wasn’t disappointed. It was a last minute booking over Easter and I got the last bedroom, described as a budget room which overlooked the kitchens. Regardless of description and outlook the room was clean, had excellent tea making facilities...

Spend Easter weekend here, third time we have stayed at the hotel and every time our stay has been excellent. Room was clean and warm (was a cold Easter Weekend this year). Nice big bed and view from room over the garden. The menu was good, difficult to choose because the selection was great. Will be back soon.
We spent four nights at this hotel. It was easily the best place we stayed in the islands. Food was generally very good and the service friendly, helpful and professional. Harriet, in particular, was excellent.
On an annual cycle trip we stopped here for a pint. Very friendly staff, a safe place for the bikes, and some bright sunshine. No complaints, and we're stopping there for lunch on this autumn's trip. I'll write another review about our luncheon experience after we've been!

We stayed at this hotel while visiting family who were holidaying on the island. Its an olde worlde hotel in a lovely setting surrounded by gardens. On arrival at the hotel we had to wait for 10 minutes at reception and eventually had to go in search of someone to check us in. Accommodation is not exceptionally cheap, especially as...

We arrived at 11:30am, after an all night flight and an abysmal experience at the Glasgow airport. We were soaking wet, exhausted, and early for check in. Michael greeted us, got housekeeping going on the rooms, and ushered us into the charming pub where the log fire was most welcome. By the time we had finished our excellent lunch, the...
