Yes we loved the elephants but were disappointed with this lodge not getting the basics correct. In spite of being surrounded by citrus orchards and with a plane flying In twice a day we were aghast that they did not serve any fresh fruit for breakfast, only tinned fruit. The fruit juice was clearly oros and not fresh juice. Accommodation... More

Fantastic huge tents in the middle of nowhere with wooden floor. You and Mother Nature with fantastic view! You have privacy and a jacuzzi on the terrace under the stars. The staff is friendly, the food is good. You really live and experience the elephants.

This place is incredible - the staff, the elephants, the lodges, the setting and the dining experience in the evenings. If you are thinking about booking here then don't think just book it! I hope to come back here one day. It was one of my favourite stays anywhere in the world. The stars of the show are the lovely... More

The Addo Elephant Safari Lodge has been nothing but a unique and beautiful experience. While the tents (which are more like little luxury suites), the view, the tranquility as well as the sorounding nature is a unique experience in itselff I mostly remember (and that is the reason I actually want to thank them) is the perfect hospitality provided by... After teaching in one of the Eastern Cape's schools for a week, we (2 British teachers) wanted to finish our trip with a bit of luxury! And we weren't disappointed! Thank you to the hosts we had the most incredible couple of days in one of the gorgeous safari lodges. The hosts tended to our every need and the chef... More

We had such a lovely stay here in April. The room was lovely, the jacuzzi and outdoor shower a real plus and the views from our 'penthouse' Fynbois were incredible. It was a happy moment when my partner called through the room to say the elephants were walking by outside, near the giraffes. The food was really lovely, the kudu... More

I can't imagine hosts being more kind than Moss and Jeff. Sense of humour, excellent service, warm and interesting people. The view is amazing, the accomodation good enough for a king and the elephants make sure that you won't forget your stay at the safari lodge. We had a wonderfull time, thanks so much! Next time we will try the... More

Addo Elephant Safari Lodge Review We took a bus from Cape Town to Port Elizabeth to visit this place. We paid for a “road” transfer from the bus station to the Addo Elephant Safari Lodge. Due to a clerical error on their part, the shuttle was over an hour late in picking us up from the bus station. This wouldn’t... More

We stayed for 3 days before heading into Addo Elephant Park, we had a nice time with Geoff and his team. The other guests were lovely and as we all ate at the same time each evening became a dinner party, sharing stories and chatting over wine. The accommodation is excellent as is the food and it was fun driving... More
