We found this to be a friendly welcoming establishment. The staff were helpful and went out of their way for you. The room was clean and comfortable and a good breakfast was served each morning. The hotel is close to the airport and the dock to catch the boat over to Corvo which I would highly recommend.

We stayed here for 3 nights. The room had a great balcony overlooking the sea, which was a lovely place to linger. The room was very comfortable, spacious and clean. Breakfast was quite limited, and the service at dinner was very poor but I would still recommend the hotel just for the views.

My husband and I had been backpacking for three days and Hotel Inatel had graciously allowed us to stow our extra bags here - free of charge. We decided last minute to end our stay in more comfortable accommodations and ditched the tent and booked a room at Hotel Inatel. The inland facing room was €76 - breakfast included. The... More

A warm welcome, a room ready well before check in time after an early arrival and a spotless reception started this stay off well. Everything clean and bright, staff dedicated and the room fit the bill with a comfortable double bed ( at last a Portuguese hotel with a double!) The location was fine with lovely views to Corvo, and... More

I stayed here last September after having stayed 2 days in a vacation rental far from everything. Weather was very bad, windy and rainy all the time. It has been a relief to find this 4 stars hotel with friendly people welcoming you and comfortable rooms & bathroom, furnished in a modern and homely way. We stayed in a room... More

I think all the rooms in this hotel have sea views - but just in case they don't, make sure you ask for one! The view is fantastic. There is an outdoor pool which is nice to relax by and a small gym - but it is just a short walk from a large sea swimming area amongst the rocks... More

Reception was the friendliest we've experienced on the Azores so far! Rooms are spacious, airconditioning worked like a charm. It was a bit noisy though: could hear people talking in neighbouring rooms and also bathroom noises. View is to die for, provided you're on the seaside! Breakfast: come early! From 9 am they're out of most things and you have... More

Basically this was very good hotel on Flores Island, but with some things which could have been better. In our room the air conditioning did not seem to be working, there was broken shelf in the wardrobe, and the room information was not in English. There seemed to be no access to any TV programs in English - at all... More

Flores is very small and there are not many places to stay. However, I would definitely rate the hotel highly. When you drive in, don't be put off by the fact that it is on the edge of the small industrial estate and very near the (tiny) airport. None of these things matter. The hotel is comfortable, clean and spacious.... More

Flores, the most western land in Europe, is an isolated island where only 4,500 people are living, with accommodation for -what I guess- a few hundred people. The only visual contact with land is Corvo, the smallest island in the Azores, with only 900 inhabitants at app. 1 hour sailing. Only 2 or 3 small planes a day and a... More
