we stayed at the aroa bungalow, which housed all six of us comfortably. We were 50 mt from a fantastic beach.. Although the furniture could do with a little t.l.c ,but this is a fantastic option for a big families because you need a bit of space and privacy.

Our room was at the end of the block right beside the main road so you could hear the road noise all night long. The linen did not get changed one day and when we asked for clean linen at the office it did not arrive. Mosquito screens were old and somewhat broken.

We are a family of 4 that arrived in Rarotonga with no expectations, just a family on a much anticipated holiday. After our flight got cancelled and rescheduled in NZ (take note: pay that bit extra to fly Air NZ, never again Virgin Australia) we finally arrived, albeit a day later than we had paid. We were greated by a... More

Just spent 10 days at Aorangi beachfront bungalow, although it is in need of some maintenance work and definitely a sign at the front entrance (would never find it in the dark) it's a great place with plenty of room and all the accessories needed. Great place for a group or family to stay.

The greeting at the airport was awesome , friendly driver and beautiful lei, but that's as good as it gets. The resort is very dated with little money going into upkeep. Our room had a sagging roof in the kitchen with water damage and in the pantry a large hole in roof that dropped disgusting smelling powder from roof every... More

Stayed one night with a toddler, found the room decor to be a bit dated - but comfortable, clean and everything worked. Pool looked good - didn't make it in sadly. Narrow driveway access with a vehicle in it can be a challenge. Helpful staff, and handy to the nice beach across the road.

Prompt friendly airport transfers from Victor and the lovely Vaine, We were in a super superior queen which was roomy and comfortable. Good cooking facilities. We got used to the roosters, dogs barking, waves and cars after the first night, just a part of the Rarotongan experience. Friendly helpful staff, and a resident ginger kitten who loved to come and... More

My wife and I stayed only one night at Reef Lodge main complex and moved next day to their rental property about 1 Km along the road. Our one night I must admit was rather noisy with traffic and roosters. However the beach front unit down the road was very quiet. You can hear the sea and the roosters seem... More

Our family had a fantastic and relaxing week in the beautiful Rarotonga. Picked up at airport by a lovely lady and taken to lodges (was after midnight) she was cheerful, nothing was a problem. Rangi in the office is wonderful as is Lotu. Rooms were spacious and clean and gave our family freedom on holiday without being crammed in (2... More

I have just returned from Rarotonga and we stayed at Puaikura Reef Lodge and stayed in room 12. When we landed their was a beautiful bubbly lady named Vaine who picked us up and drove us to the lodge. Our room was a great size with everything i needed. When i woke the next morning, Lotu the receptionist had arranged... More
