My husband and I spent a week here on our honeymoon and had a wonderful experience. We booked room 8, which is technically still one of the garden rooms but has a clear beach view. If you're looking for a resort with tons of activities, this probably isn't the place for you. But if you're looking for a place to... More

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights on our honeymoon after spending 9 days in Aitutaki. The resort was very nice; clean & modern. We were very pleased with our room (we stayed in unit 1 which I would definitely recommend!). Great beach and pool set up. I knocked one star off for not so great food at... More

Beautiful and relaxing stay. Staff were fabulous and friendly. The Villa was spacious and tiled throughout, the air con and ceiling fan was a treat. The outdoor shower was fun and the window screens gave peace of mind from any insects. The verandah and outdoor seating was great and the place was kept clean and tidy, and you can wear... More

My husband and I have recently recturned from a three day stay at Manuia, before going to Aitutaki. We both thoroughly loved it. We stayed in one of the beachfront rooms, but if I was staying there again, I would stay in one of the other rooms, which are the same, but much cheaper. Needless to stay, we still loved... More

We stayed here for two last nights of our honeymoon and were a bit disappointed. Our room was nice size, but the bed was so uncomfortable, very old spring bed. The decor of the room was not boutique hotel standard and the out door shower was very small. Sheets also felt quite old and worn. We arrived around 9pm and... More

We were thrilled with our stay here and wish it could have been longer. So laid back-small number of guests-wonderful staff-spacious villas-amazing infinity pool and restaurant that are practically on the beach. To top it off, great value. We chose well and highly recommend this place.

This was our second stay at Manuia. It is a lovely small resort. We had a garden unit no 17 which was lovely and private. The outdoor shower is great and your own small deck to relax and have a drink on. The setting is amazing and cocktails while watching sunsets a must. All staff friendly and willing to help... More

We had problems settling and relaxing in this "wonderful" resort. Yes, it has a nice setting on a "coarse" beach with broken glass everywhere. The dogs were roaming around, even invading sometimes close to the property. The swimming was not great either. I saw only a few people using the sea. The big drawcard is the "Infinity Pool", everybody is... More

This really is a home away from home, but even better! My hubby and I stayed for 5 nights (we got married while staying at Manuia), and had an absolutely amazing experience. We could not fault one aspect – everything was fantastic, the room, restaurant, staff, location, everything was just perfect. We stayed in room No. 8, which was beautiful,... More

This West Coast resort has a wonderful sunset view and waterfront location. Rooms are simple, spacious and clean. They also have great sound-proofing, as I learned from having neighbors that were in the partying mode until late in the night - but I easily slept through it all. A highlight is the outdoor shower. There is nice local artwork in... More
