After reading some bad reviews we were anxious to say the least. But as soon as we arrived at the park we were made very welcome reception staff were lovely. Our static 13 Selkirk sanctuary was immaculate. Bar and restaurant staff very friendly and attentive food is pub grub but nice.We travel abroad frequently and since visiting this park we wont... A fab Camping/Caravan park with great amenities for the kids. Food in the restaurant was pretty good, but they have signs everywhere saying they no longer do battered fish. Makes me think they buy it in Frozen in breadcrumbs. They management couldnt manage a piss up in a brewery, but the staff are amazing. The manageress does not seem to... More

I've just returned from a stay on the touring site with daughter and grandkids. With all it's got going for it this site should be so much better. It feels depressingly uncared for, loads of space but the touring pitches are awful, too close together, very uneven and no attempt made to make the site attractive in any way. The... More

We enjoyed a wonderful peaceful weekend away at Shell Bay, the park was busy but you couldn't tell. A fantastic relaxing break from the normal rat race and stresses at home. Staff were really helpful, caravan ready to walk in to, sit down and relax

The park is in a great place just a stone throw from the beach. If you like walking theirs plenty off nice walks along the coastal paths. Theres a playpark for the kids with zipline and a big boat to play on. The large bar area is good with bingo on at weekends and entertainment on in the summer months.... More

Visited last week and found the site to be lovely. Right on the beach with great, clean facilities and a fantastic playground for our children. The touring pitches were fine, but pretty stoney/uneven hardstanding. The club was great and the children loved the free wifi. We will certainly be returning to this site in the future.

I rented a touring pitch for four nights and love it, the location is perfect and the beach and walk areas are great. The amenities need updating the shop is poor and the kids room isnt up to much. We never used the restaurant so cant comment. The washing facilities are standard, teenagers tend to hang out in it at... More

The park itself is nice but we have eaten in the restaurant before and have been pleased with our food.as it was Mother's Day, 7 of us decided to go for dinner. Out of the 7 only one meal was ok, the chilli gave my son food poison, three of the fish was still frozen in the middle, a meat... More
