This campground is part of Keuka Lake State Park. The park is divided into a day use area and a camping area. A vehicle use fee is in effect for day visitors. The day use part of the park has a swimming beach, boat launch, docking spaces, picnic tables and grills, playground, lavatories and reservable picnic shelter. There are no... More

This is a very nice NY State Park with a beautiful day use picnic area on the shores of Keuka Lake although the campground does not have a lake view. The sites are plenty large enough for groups to gather yet also private. The Esperanza View sites seem to be the best for larger RV's with a fair number having... More

We tent camped for years & switched to a trailer last summer. We camp at Keuka SP about 3-4 times out of 12+ each year. We have a handful of favorite sites with part sun/part shade. Our favorites are non-electric sites. Hiking trails thru the woods run from the camp loops down to the water. New playgrounds look great if... More

Most campsites had little privacy between them with not a lot of shade so noise really carries and neighbors were plenty noisy. Ranger came around one night and warned them but other nights they carried on until 3am. Nice boat launch area and surrounding countryside is beautiful. Bathrooms were clean and park was well kept.

Took our kids to the playground which is wonderful and found this to be one of the best parks we have been to! Bathroom facilities have adjacent locker rooms and showers. The beach is rocky and clean with lifeguards (check for scheduled times on duty). We only made it to the beach and surrounding green space, but we had a... More

I am used to camping in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, so I was a little skeptical about camping in the Finger Lakes. Recently, my boyfriend and I moved to Canandaigua, which is about 30 minutes away from Keuka Lake. I work in Penn Yan but never get a chance to experience the area so we were both looking... More

Campsites w/ electricity were easily 4x larger than most others at which I've stayed. Picnic tables were in good condition, and the fire pits had grills ontop for cooking. The view was spectacular, and the night sky could not be darker. Plentiful stars, and peaceful nightime sounds. Large trees- my site had a huge weeping willow, and many trees and... More

Have tent-camped at Keuka LSP around a half-dozen times (most recently in October 2011) and every time was memorable. The park has gentle hills overlooking Keuka Lake, with excellent swimming and boating access. Three camping loops provide a broad variety of sites, from treeless to shady, high and dry to muddy, RV-serviced to tent-rustic. Bathrooms/showers are clean; and the beach... More

OK not ALL sites were shadeless but over 80% were in the hot sun during most of the day. If you have a boat and are going to be away from dawn to dusk it might not be bad but otherwise you are just baking. We got stuck with the site that provided the main access to the bathrooms. Literally... More
