Bach Wen has it all! What hit me first was the location. The sea on one side and the snowdonian mountains on the other. In the middle is Bach wen, a great location for tranquility and peace. We stayed in the pods which are fabulous! The owners Johnny and Helen are so welcoming, I will definitely be back. A great... More

The Granary was the perfect cottage for our family of 5 adults and 3 small dogs. Spacious, homely, well equipped, delightful views, we could not have asked for anything more (apart from, ha ha, the missing veg peeler, which Helen replaced at lightning speed when I joked it was missing). To our relief, the dogs behaved impeccably, as they were... More

Just back from a week in The Bakery. It's cosy, quiet and you can see Snowdonia and the sea from the windows. Sitting in the private garden you can soak up the peace of the place. The cottage is fully equipped and has a flat screen tv and wood burning stove with a double bedroom. The barn is comfy and... More

We have just got home from a week in the stables at Bach Wen. We have had a fantastic time, very child and dog friendly. Helen and Johnny are brilliant hosts and make a really good roast dinner!! Our little boy and dog loved the freedom there with the lovely fields, meadows and kids play area. We visited Caernarfon, Beddegelert,... More

Beautiful, tranquil and extremely dog friendly. Helen and Jonny make you feel extremely welcome with excellent meals in the barn - including vegetarian. Our dogs ( all 3) loved the freedom to run in the fields and on the beach. Though after the 2nd day they were bored of chasing rabbits, they had seen so many! The accommodation is extremely... More

We had a wonderful stay in the Bakery cottage, waking up each morning to the horses gambling around the paddock outside our bedroom window. The cottage is well equipped with everything you need to have a comfortable stay including a lovely wood burning fire for those cold days in winter (we didn't need it!). The views are stunning and the... More

We have just returned from a week in Chapel Cottage with my parents and dog, what a stunning location, well equipped and very warm comfortable cottage. Our dog loved the paddock and beach, he would have quite happily stayed there all day. Early morning walks on the beach and paddock a must. Close to many attractions and beautiful beaches. The...
