Jessica was such an awesome host and the food, facilities, and atmosphere were A plus! If I ever go back to San Juan, I will definately want to stay here. This was our first experience with a B & B and I have to say, it was a good one. My sister Luree and I were on a mini vacation... More

It has taken a long time for me to write this, not due to lack of time. but difficulty in reviewing. It is obvious that the host of this establishment takes time to reply to reviews, I just wish they took the same time with the state of the establishment, perhaps they would raise the bar a little. Yes it... More

I've stayed here twice over the past few years and I love it! The food is great and the area is beautiful. Go to the British camp, it is really nice.

My husband and I recently stayed here for two nights and enjoyed our time. Jessica is a wonderful host and bent over backwards to make everyone feel at home and to provide what they needed. For example, she offered two of their lawn chairs to us to take to the state park to view whales and to use at the... More

We stayed in the Southwest suite and had two bedrooms and a living room with a pullout couch, so there was room for our family of five and even some privacy for my husband and me. The breakfasts were really fresh and wonderful, helping to make the extra cost of a bed and breakfast a good value. We got good... More

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Our California room was beautiful with huge windows you could look out over the valley and see stars thru at night. The picture online for that room didn't do it justice. The breakfast was wonderful. The have horses and alpacas and other animals on the... More

The location works if you have a car or can tolerate a wait for the island's bus service. The States Inn is not your regular B & B experience, but it does entertain. Rescue horses, chickens on the premises, daily dog "camps", resident alpacas, a florishing veggie garden....All sorts of stuff going on here. Stayed in the California room and... More

My sister and I recently stayed two nights at the States Inn and Ranch before going on a three day kayaking trip. The only reason I'm writing to to save others the disappointment that we experienced. I know that usually when there only one person complaining about a place that they are usually a crank but I hope you read... More

This is truly a country farm area. The house is welcoming and certainly the staff is warm and eager to help make your stay comfortable. We were planning on eating at their breakfast time but we woke up early and found that we could have a wonderful breakfast of homemade scones, muffins, oatmeal, granola and juice and unlimited coffee at the... Just returned from San Juan and can't wait to go back. Jessica and the gang offer a fantastic deal if you don't mind animals and don't miss tv when you are on vacation. It is not walking distance to Friday Harbor but if you have a car, this is a great B and B. Say hello to the goats, horses,... More
