We stayed one night at their canvas cabin tents, overlooking the lodge, right on Neva lake. The "tent" was clean and very roomy. The queen sized bed with flannel sheets was cozy and our daughter was very comfortable on the sleeper couch. They provided clean towels, but nothing else. We brought fire wood and s'mores stuff and had a wonderful... more

Words to descibe: Family Friendly, Clean, Romantic, & Luxury Camping. They have Cabins, Camping, Luxury Tents, Or hotel rooms available. Including Luxury Tents that look like a great way to spend a very romantic weekend. We Stayed at campsite 88 which was not described to its greatest effect on their website. It Was very private, and close to the bathrooms.... more

We have stayed at the Lakedale Resort the last 2 years, and are headed up over the 4th of July this summer. Great place! I am not a big camper, so we always stay in their canvas cabins. Their so wonderful! The bedding is cozy, the sheets are clean and soft. The staff is always very friendly and my son... more

The beautiful setting, outdoor fireplace on the deck overlooking the lake, and the wonderful breakfast were highlights of this resort. The beds were comfortable, the decor modest but acceptable, and the room was clean. Renting a canoe to paddle the lake was also affordable, in close proximity, and enjoyable. That being said, the lodge itself is cheaply built and feels... more

We just got back from our stay at Lakedale Resort .. what a wonderful way to kick off the fall season ..we're from So. Calif. where it's still hot but we had lovely cool days in Friday Harbor. We selected this place after reading others' comments on Trip Advisor ... and a room in the Lodge was just right for... more

Alright, this place has it all. Want to rough it? They have a HUGE beautiful camp ground. Want to sort of rough it but have a bed? They have canvas cabins that are open during the summer that are cabins but in a canvas tent, they have a bed and chairs but you us the campground bathrooms. Cute concept. They... more

My husband and I stayed at Lakedale this July. It was the lodging of choice for our San Juan Islands bike trip -- and what a great choice it was! We loved the resort and our room. The place looked like a cozy log cabin -- but with lots of amenities. Our room was comfortable and well equipped, as was... more

For those in search of the rugged woodsy experience of the Great NW outdoors, Lakedale suits the bill -- as well and better as any other private campground vying to serve the wilderness recreation crowd. Nice lakes, clean well kept grounds, adequate facilities. A group of small and equally well-kept cabins serve to extend that campground experience to the indoors,... more

We spent two nights "glamping" in the canvas tent section of the campground resort over the Fourth of July. Such fun! It was a perfect mix of true camping and yet having all the bedding, portable lamp, and fire pit all taken care of. (Especially since we had flown in from California and couldn't possibly bring all the usual camping... more

Despite being from Seattle, only 3 hours away, this was our first visit to San Juan Island. I booked the Lakedale Resort because the website made it look so serene and picturesque. Well, the website didn't mislead: the resort is as terrific as it looks! We rented a cabin, which was rather pricey, but the floorplan was just what a... more
