A very welcoming restaurant with rooms. Very comfortable accommodation in a lovely village with plentiful walking. Staff were fantastic throughout. Dinner was superb.

We've just got back from the Mistley Thorn, and of the countless pub/restaurant/hotels we've stayed in, this has to be the best. Very friendly and helpful staff, great room with a fantastic bath and shower and an incredibly comfortable bed, and genuinely wonderful food. It didn't cost much either. What's more, the walking and cycling in the area is excellent.
