Our stay at Wild Mahseer was unlike anything we had ever experienced before. The old world charm of the bungalow, the classic furniture and the peace and quiet left us spellbound. There is plenty to do and the three days we spent there were fun and eventful. The river rafting and jungle trek at the nearby Eco Camp are thoroughly... More

Stayed for 5 nights April 10-16. It's a tranquil gem of a spot surrounded by a working tea plantation. The staff was very friendly and as helpful as possible - sometimes it was hard to understand each other. Big Boss, Mr Singh, and the catering manager were always around, friendly and answered any and all questions. The room, Silver Tips,... More

This place is for people who want to take a break from busy city life and spend some time with nature. It is abundant with greenery. Nature is left on its own to grow which gives it a forest like appearance. I really enjoyed the stars in the sky, the fireflies and the tour of tea estate next to it.... More

Set within a huge tea plantation, this is a must experience place, steeped in history and much of it well preserved. We were given an estate tour which also included a tour of the Heritage Bungalow that takes your breath away. We wished we had stayed in one of the rooms there, although the Silver Tips bungalow we stayed in... More

Lovely property, great food and good service. The only blight for us was a storm which took down the electricity and main generator lines, but then "Acts of God" cannot be helped I suppose. Would love to be back!

I know I am writing this a 'long long' time after we actually made the visit - I am talking about a visit well over three years ago. I didn't know about Trip Advisor then! Well, if a place leaves an impression after all that time, it is definitely worth a review. I love plantation bungalows - makes me wish... More

A very quiet location off the beaten path, with monkeys running all around and the back gate leading right on to the tea plantation, or tea garden as they call it. Each bungalow has its own charm and garden; ours had 2 rooms and there was one other person in the other room for one night but otherwise we had... More

The heritage bungalow is luxurious. My favourite spot was the huge verandah where we sank into large comfortable chairs and drank endless cups of steaming Assam tea. The house was decorated with lots of interesting china & curios; the library is specially good for browsing around. The bedrooms are huge and the bathrooms are the size of a Bombay's studio... More
