When we arrived our room was not ready. We could only get it at 10:30 pm ! It took them over 2 hours to serve dinner. The staff is inexperienced and the food is not worth 25 euros ! Not the "gourmet" dinner they promise you at all. There is a dangerous and long stairway to get to the restaurant... More

We were looking for a nice hotel in Burgundy and chanced upon this one. All I can say is that it is one of the nicest hotels we have visited in France. The location of the hotel itself is really special, high up in a beautiful old village. It is also very quiet and peaceful. The restaurant is located an... More

This hotel is at the uphill end of Villeferry. Coming up from the D905 keep climbing, there are no signposts to the hotel but you will come to it just before the end of the village, on the left. The hotel itself is spread over the side of a hill. Reception, some rooms and the breakfast room are on the... More

This is more than a hotel, it is an experience. The guest rooms have been renovated from 350 year old farm buildings. The farm village was previously failing, but the hotel has brought new life to the village. The property includes several buildings going up a hillside, with beautiful countryside views from top to bottom. All is very quaint and... More

When I arrived this hotel reminded me of a 18th century France and then when I went in the rooms it was just super cool because in my room I had such cool stairs and a rope to climb up. The rooms were all tidy and there was Japanese origami and I thought it was super cool.

We really enjoyed our stay at this familiar B&B. The surrounding is really beutiful and the staff makes everything possible for you to enjoy your stay. There are many interesting villages in the neighborhood.

Care and consideration seem to be the bywords here. The hotel consistes of a series of old houses built into the hillside. There are steps for going up and steps for going down (at least it seems like it). That said (although you need your knees and legs to be working OK) the hotel has its own charm and the... More

I could write an epic post about how wonderful this hotel is... On arrival we were greeted by the owner, she spoke perfect English & was very welcoming & helpful. She showed us to our room & wow, it was gorgeous. The en-suite was modern yet still traditional & spotlessly clean, as was our room which was beautifully furnished; we... More

This is a wonderful out of the way jem. Probably the most peaceful place I have ever been. The property is set up so that no matter how many guest's they accommodate everyone has private space with numerous patios, communal kitchen with seating area and another large seating area upstairs in a separate building. If you want a truly French... More

This place is set in the middle of nowhere, very peaceful with amazing views of the countryside. The staff were very friendly. The room, was quaint but having stayed in a few places which cost the same amount of money, I have to say, I think it was overpriced for the standard of quality. The shower curtain was a contraption... More
