We spent a week in Casa Spertaglia with a bunch of eight, kids and grandkids incl. It was a week in “piccola Italia” with everything we wanted within reach: great views, fresh food and local wines, tasty gelati, adorable places like Sansepolcro, Gubbio, Cortona and tutti quanti… And of course the superb hospitality of Karin who entertained us as her... Besides the beautiful landscape, the most cultivated garden, idyllic rooms and neat installations you will find an outstanding host (and owner) for your stay, providing you with heartwarming care and any information you will need to have spectacular holidays: Karin Ender. Enjoy, as we did and will do for sure.

We (two families with teenage and older children) spent 2 idyllic weeks here in August. Fabulous location, all the facilities you might wish for, the views ....... oh yes! Near the charming San Sepolcro, and with local farmers making Pecorino and Ricotta in their kitchen, real Italy is at your doorstep. Highly recommended, and Karin is a very charming hostess.

Casa Spertaglia is a typical Umbrian building set in beautiful surroundings and with beautiful gardens. The apartment is authentic , well equipped and clean. Karin is a very friendly and open person and served us a delicious breakfast every morning. The house is in a quiet setting but close to San Giustino and Sansepolcro.

We landed at Casa Spertaglia during a spectacular thunderstorm. Karen launched our visit with her gracious anti-pasta and Prosecco welcome and we followed many of her suggestions for day-trips, wine tastings, people-watching in Sansepolcro, shopping, gelato, olive oil tasting and local restaurants. Karin was a great source of suggestions for exploring local scenic villages – we discovered things that all... More

Having been to Tuscany twice before, I had high expectations for this trip, but when we arrived at Karin's Casa Spertaglia, I knew we were in for a special experience. Karin was a lovely hostess and welcomed us with Prosecco and antipasta under one of her rustic, charming vine covered pergolas. Throughout our two week stay, she created several experiences... More

We have just returned from our trip to Casa Spertaglia. The view was breathtaking and the weather could not have been better. Karin, our hostess, was very pleasant and eager to help with any information we needed about the surrounding area and places to visit. Our living quarters were perfect! Clean and quiet. Karin prepared breakfasts every morning and one... More

We had a phenomenal time at Casa Spertaglia. Relaxed, good food, great location on the border between Umbria and Toscana. A few hours from major cities, so not very touristy. Just authentic, beautiful italy.

Karin, the owner was so kind, welcoming and couldn't do enough for her guests. I stayed in a huge apartment with private bathroom, television etc. There were other guests staying and one evening Karin invited all of us to a four course meal cooked by herself - fantastic. She also took us to a family run olive oil business which... More

In september we spent two weeks in Casa Spertaglia. It was our second stay at Karin's lovely B&B. We love the view at the surrounding hills, which is like the French people say "imprenable", the beautiful garden and swimming pool, which was very particular and refreshing. Karins rich breakfasts which she serves every morning on the terras are delicious. We... More
